It's got to suck knowing the efforts of your labors don't get the respect commonly assigned to other types of labor, e.g. manufactured physical goods or whatever. My basement is a home studio, and if I ever get any copyright material out there, I'll really know how you feel. "Piracy" itself is such a bullshit label, as though stealing soft works had some sort of glamour and righteousness attached to it. "Thievery" is the accurate term. Maybe it tells you something about human nature -- if you remove the risk and inconvenience, leaving only the moral barrier, a lot of people will steal. . . =(_8^(1)
