  2. Is the seemingly "light" reprimand of John D an idication that the executive board would have approved of the release anyway? I have not read the minutes of the meeting so I don't know.
  3. That's about right and you get what you pay for. So, getting a ragged out Caravan for 800K is not really a good idea. Remember, you're gonna try to run it hard to make money.   4. Your pilots have to have more ratings and training to safely fly it. 2,900 feet isn't exactly a lot of runway. Doubt you could loose one engine at rotation and get it stopped on the runway. 2,400 feet would have less of a chance. It's not "using" all of the runway to take off in normal conditions.   5. Were the reports given by DeSantis to the plaintiffs factually incorrect? Is anyone disputing what violations may have been listed in those reports? People want to jump John's case but is it worse what Mike was doing? I have two jump plane accident reports from Skydive Las Vegas that pretty much indicate that the pilots were not trained properly on those jump planes. Why doesn't anyone clamore about what Mike was doing? Maybe there was a real need to make all things known so a dangerous operation was put out of business? So the rest of us wouldn't have to worry about future tarnishing of our sport? Maybe John was acting as a whistle blower and wasn't getting help from USPA HQ. I don't know.   6. C-206 converted to an IO-550 engine. That's your ticket for the "next step". It will go to 12-13K MSL in a resonable amount of time and you can shut it down unlike turbines that don't like shutting down over the life of the engine. If you 100K to spend then this will come in way under that mark. Take the extra money and use it to upgrade the engines on the other remaining two 182s. You'll have a bad ass piston fleet capable of doing 12 ways. I've done 5 plane Cessna formations (3 182s and 2 206s). Keep the upgrades smooth and steady. Once you make the leap to turbine you need to have someone who has an extensive background in turbines in charge of your operation.   8. Similarities: they both have the 4 stages of producing power. Intake, compression, compustion, exhaust. Turbines do all four stages simultaneously.   14. And Florida says they won't be able to count the absentee ballots until Thursday!! Say what!!?? Guys on CNN say that's about 250,000 votes. Don't know how accurate that is but that is just disgraceful considering they have had 4 f'n years to get ready for this. Which ever way it goes in Florida it makes us look stupid.

  19. Did she tell him to stop at any point before this? Nothing I've seen yet (not saying it doesn't exist) says that she told him to stop. Just, wham, lawsuit. To me, that's BS. Some people you can joke with more than others. If you get offended say so. Most people will stop. Those that can't control themselves should then be dealt with accordingly. This situation, imo, is a BS way to handle it.

And starting off with a press conference right as he came out with his book is BS timing. She should have gone with HR. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Now, they start off with a press conference and he is guilty until he can prove his innocence. But sadly, he is damaged goods now and will be pushed to the side for this. If he's guilty he should pay the price but that hasn't been established. We all know that the innocent never get their name back after they are "cleared". This is a BS way of handling stuff like this. Oh and why the hell would she go back to work for him after she left FOX once before? Now she's suddenly offended? I'm not buying this. Don't give me the "well it was a career move to go back." Yah, and after I stopped pounding nails into my eye I thought to myself it might be a good idea to do it again!
