I would suggest going to Times Square. I've only been to NYC a few times - usually only for a day or two. I always have fun walking around Times Square. The last time I was there I had lunch at the ESPN sports bar (I think that's what it was called). But, the cool thing about it was that there were TV's in all the stalls in the bathroom. But, there are so many things to do there. Try to see a play on Broadway - that's always fun. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."

My sister is too funny. When I was little I had just about every strawberry shortcake doll ever made. Well, my sister just came home with a present for. Can't believing I'm posting this pic. The first is from 7th grade (circa '89) I had some big ass hair - example of a perm () gone wild. The second is at some cheesy fundraiser in 6th grade - take note of the acid washed shorts with the fashionable side zippers. These are funny! I think this may be an accurate explaination of the way we drive around here. But, sometimes our hands may be occupied with the cell phone, changing CD's, eating, applying makeup...the list is endless. One thing for sure is the foot solidly on the accelerator. I know nothing about Lupus, but, my only suggestion would be to check out the Lupus foundation and read all the information that is out there about different treatments. Go into the doctor's armed with information and questions. I know the frustration of having someone close to you who is sickand feeling like there is so much more that the doctor's should be doing. I know how that feels. I went to Hawaii last year and one of my good friends did not have the money to go...so, being the nice person that I am paid for him. I paid for this last March, just got the money back yesterday! I don't mind letting people borrow it as long as I know I'll get it back eventually. If we are talking about the same things - we called that "pegging" your pants - looked best when paired with colored socks and high top sneakers. HAHAHAHA. I'm going to have to dig up a picture of me like that... I was not born in the 80's - but 1978 - so I was just entering my teenage years as the 80's came to a close. I personally didn't compile the list - it was an email that sent to me at work. But, that definitely should have made the list. Check out this website for some fun "flashbacks" to the 80's or whatever decade you grew up in. The first time I went on this site it made me laugh so hard because it brought back so many funny memories about toys and tv shows etc...
