I would sit down with her and talk. If you don't pose it as something that you don't want her to be doing, rather, explain to her what type of kid he is - she may be more apt to listen and understand. I'm thinking this is not an option. Hey - my little brother would love it though. I may just see if there's a show that he wants to go to in Providence and if it's all ages take him and a friend. The tattoo is doing great. It's already all healed - no more peeling or anything. I'm actually going to go drop of a pic tonight for the tattoo guy. BTW - I live with my parents and my little brother so no sneeking him beers here. Don't think hooking him with a friend is an option either. That would be gross. Last night there was this really yummy cake in my kitchen. Didn't know what it was for or who made it. I had a piece and it was damn good. This morning I asked my mom what it for. She had made it for my little brother's birthday - no big deal that I ate some because he just didn't feel like eating any last night. Now I feel like a complete jerk. I forgot all about his birthday - he turned 16. I never forget birthdays or anything. In fact I usually try to do something nice for people on their birthday. Hmmm...you live in Arizona? I'll be there in about 20 hours or so. No one really drinks in my house (except me, my sis and her boyfriend). I can't even start jumping until the end of March or beginning of Aprinl, depending on the weather. I usually have a hard time accepting presents or money from my mom. I like to get my on my own (aside from living with her an paying no rent) But, I'm thinking this is one offer I will not be able to refuse. Sure...she really is fantastic. She's been real supportive of me my whole life which has been great. I was a bit worried that she was not going to support me in this but she finally came around. He thinking was that she bought my brother his first drum set so she feels that she needs to help me buy my first rig. She's a little nutty sometimes but I will not argue with her on this. My parents are divorced...so, initially my mom was so against me going. But, my dad I went and had a blast. What a great memory and day to be able to share with him. But, when I went back for my second tandem my mom actually went with me. When we were getting close to the ground I yelled "hi mom" to her. She must have been able to hear the excitement in my voice, because after that day she has been totally supportive of me wanting to skydive.
