Vegetarian for 6 years and raw for a while there. I'm currently an organic vegan for the past 2 1/2 years, but checking out macrobiotics. As for funny stories I have a slew of them. Like the time I spent puking in the parking lot after accidently eating clam dip at a party with my sign language class. (Something must have got lost in the translation). Or the time I spent puking in the bathroom after kissing my then boyfriend who'd just eaten chicken and decided to share some. Or just yesterday when I thought I was going to puke after my work tried to poison me by slipping chicken into my lunch. Don't get me wrong I'm not one of those veggie nazis...just don't get me started about animal related subjects after I put a couple back. My favorite episode is where Bart is in love with the chick who used to play Darlene on the show Roseanne. Sorry to hijack this thread...I just got this emailed to me from my mom. Sick and twisted runs in the family. x's and o's, Hol :) How To Bathe The Cat 1. Thoroughly clean toilet. 2. Lift both lids and add shampoo. 3. Find and soothe the cat as you carry him/her to the bathroom. 4. In one swift move, place cat in toilet, close both lids and sit on top, so cat cannot escape. 5. The cat will self-agitate and produce ample suds (ignore ruckus from inside the toilet, as the cat is enjoying this). 6. Flush toilet 3 or 4 times. This provides power rinse, which is quite effective. 7. Have someone open outside door, stand as far from toilet as possible and quickly lift both lids. 8. Pheeeeeeew!!! I was almost afraid to open this thread when I saw it was all about me! On that note I'd like to take a moment to buy beer for everyone...this is my *FIRST* thread dedicated entirely to ME!! As for the surf in Phoenix...it's down. While at work I flipped through a magazine with pictures of beautiful woman doing yoga on the beach in San Diego. I closed my eyes, tapped my heels together three times and repeated "there's no place like home"...to my dismay I wasn't magically transported anywhere. I did get to watch Camelback Mountain turn an enchanting maroon color as the sun rested gently behind the horizon.
