[Many us lowly 'general' members only know of an item or two that may effect us on some seemingly obscure level. Having it out on the plate like that allows me to form a better more informed opinion regarding what's actually going on and the effect it is having. My question, in your opnion is there anything the GM program does to 'help' the sport / general membership? Just trying to learn as much as I can... Excellent post Jan. Thats why I voted for you.

Ive got a Fast Eddie pic on his bike with my nekkid friend Carol but I cant find it. It was taken at the Mardi Gras boogie a few years ago at Trent Lott Arpt. Just coincidentally the Secretary of Transportations Jet had just landed and the whole group got an eyefull. It didnt go over very well with Mike Igo.

Not everyone automatically buys into every fad or fashion shortage wolf cry. Global warming iis a much a farce as the so-called ol shortage. There's enough oil untapped, to power this world and 100 others like it, for eternity and beyond. The only shortages on this planet, are in wisdom and common sense. Can you be more precise about exactly where this eternal supply of oil is to be found. Underground, generally. It's in the exact same place as it was in the '20s, when the "experts" warned that there wasn't enough oil to last, 'til 1930. Your value system is what it is. Its not my job to try to change that. I also dont care to debate with you. I pointed out a couple of relevent points in your posts to allude to the character of the poster. The USPA will go on regardless of what we say here due largely to the apathy of the majority of jumpers. [reply And I'm glad you made that decision. I'm sure the person you helped is thankful. But my decision to not intervene doesn't make me a bad person either. I have a responsibility to to my kids to be here for them. I can't do that if the mugger decides to kill me. When I was younger I might have felt differently. I'm not so young anymore. I'm not young either...but I have always tried to make a difference. To do this takes character and risk. You need to be here for your kids but you still skydive ? My goodness theres quite a contradiction there. My point is this......sometimes someone needs to stand up to the storm. Its good that there are people that can and will. bozo Pain is fleeting.
