By "dirty", it means that it is a lower pressure zone, so the AAD thinks it is higher than it would otherwise. A person experienced in the signs of wear that occur on mains can confirm it is plausible, just be sure to not try to evaluate it yourself. Such closet queen gear is common. If it is true, then the main could be a very good deal. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. Reserve extraction - What's a newbie to think?

For the price of a repack at most, or just do it when a repack is needed and we can all contribute data of generally how hard it is to pull out the freebag with the main packed. I will be checking mine when I get a repack very soon. Mine was about 12 pounds max needed to pull it out - direction as if in a standing orientation. From the original video link - comments: The cargo flight N8-102 crew were heard on VHF air-band frequency reporting that some of the load of five heavy military vehicles weighing more than 70 tons in the cargo hold had shifted and the National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 stalled. National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 crashed and erupted into flames on impact. The crash site was near the end of the 11,849 ft long runway 03 within the perimeter of the Bagram airfield. All seven crew – Jamie Brokaw, pilot, Monroe, MI, Brad Hasler, pilot, Trenton, MI, Jeremy Lipka, pilot, Brooklyn, MI, Rinku Summan, pilot, Canton, MI, Michael Sheets, loadmaster, Ypsilanti, MI, Gary Stockdale, mechanic, Romulus, MI, Timothy Garrett, mechanic, Louisville, KY were killed on impact. If only the person having the problem wasn't having a problem with arching correctly without a problem. Even on your back, a really good, symmetric arch doesn't mean you'll go belly to earth. If that was true, then you wouldn't be able to reverse arch belly to earth without flipping on your back. Balling up for a second is a good way to provide an opportunity to come out of it belly to earth. A barrel roll would be more elegant, but newbies aren't always elegant. People get in trouble spinning because they are not symmetric. Simply arching might not fix it because they don't realize what is asymmetric. Tracking is a good way to provide an opportunity to come out of the track symmetric. Newbies aren't so good at realizing what is causing a spin, Some things are appropriate for students to do in response to such situations, and when they get more jumps, it is good to know some other options. I am not an instructor, and I never had problems with stability, so of course, as usual, my advice should be considered wrong. To the OP, you really should be very confident at your ability to get on and then off of your back by barrel rolls and flips before doing other types of freefly stuff. Work on that skill alone on some jumps. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. Thread revival, eh? The movie can be had for about $7, and yes, it is worth it! Thanks! I'll try to emulate Ben Stein from Ferris Bueller's day off! I've been substitute teaching for quite a long while. Being able to do that has prepared me well, besides the student teaching. I see, thanks. Still, I would think that a large increase in pull force would result from a small amount of deflection, so that the lubrication issue would be less important than the inherent rigidity. Do any others have anything to say about the relative rigidity of the cables? I don't understand this. Do you mean the yellow was harder to pull/release, or that it was more resistant to being pulled through the grommet, or what? Is there a difference in the rigidity of the cables? People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. Durometer is the term used to describe the hardness of the coating. Booth stuck his fingernail in it and declaired it to soft. I had it tested and found that the durometer varies for both within the same range. It has been is service now for maybe 20 years and other than a cracking problem from a former vendor many years (1996+/-) ago have had no problem. There is probably 20,000 units in service. Did you measure the hardness of the coating on a cable, or a large thick chunk of the material. I would expect there to be a difference. Hardness measurements of plastics are not like those of metals. Hardness measured on a cable doesn't necessarily equate to the coating's contribution to rigidity. None of that is important though, as what matters is much more easily evaluated - are the red cables easier to bend than a yellow cable? Can somebody please elaborate on this? Is it correct that large 3 rings reduce cutaway pull forces? I believe this chart came from UPT/Booth many years ago in a thread here. I don't know if it is just the pull force for one cable, or if there is any housing friction present, or if anything had been lubed. Even with the control variables unknown, it is a useful comparison.
