To heck with Viking, help ME with my rig colouring!

The reserve side panels should be the brighter/lighter color. I think this general rule gives good results. So it would be OK if one sibling/cousin was infertile? Is it OK for 2 adults to marry: father - son or mother - daughter? I believe most people would be repulsed to have a friend tell them their secret that they were in such a marriage, despite the fact that so many are proud of their support for same sex marriage. The arguments of "who is it hurting, etc." apply equally well to the father - son marriage, yet it is completely not socially acceptable. So, until supporters of same sex marriage explicitly support polygamy and other unconventional marriages, then I think they should not pretend to be supporters of equal rights. Why? Would you rather the harness fail? All risers require inspection, maintenance and replacement. Of course I don't want the harness to fail, but I think the mini riser was never designed to serve the purpose of a force limiter and is a poor choice to inherit that role. It also has a big impact on the use of an RSL, as te original poster asked. I Think there is no way that a heavy person should use an mini-riser & RSL that can be activated when one riser breaks. Only available on the new version of the vectors. A Vector III made before the Skyhook was available can be retrofitted, but that is all. Definitely not true. There was one a few months ago in Ohio, and another that made the incidents forum a few weeks ago, I believe. They still fail often enough that a lot of very respected people recommend that mini risers be replaced every line set or 500 jumps, or whatever number. I like the idea of a load limiter in the main canopy system, but the use of the existing mini riser design is not a good idea. How do you know how many relatively hard openings matter in what should be the lifetime of a set of risers? If I have a few hard openings, should I take off 100 jumps of 'riser life'? I am a fan of the old standard size risers and rings, if you know that gravity has more hold on you than most, there are a bunch of good reasons to use the std setup. When I was watching my reserve get packed at Skydive Arizona a few weeks before the 300 way, a rigger was making a bunch of belts just for the jumpers that would probably need them. You might try calling them or other rigging lofts at DZ's that host big ways, they might have some laying around gathering dust. They may not be the same fit/quality product that you get from a regular mfg, but who knows? Are you OK with incest? I mean when both are adults? What about a father -son or mother -daughter 'marriage'? Most people are repulsed by this, so it should not be a surprise that homosexual relationships are not accepted by many. Aren't there any sports you enjoy watching? Such as skydiving? I don't understand how you can't understand the "sports-fan thing". If you don't like hockey, what about competitive sailing, tennis, golf, tiddlywinks? Surely there must have been some sports type of activity in which you played as a kid and can appreciate watching the best in the world do it. Some think that being a sports fan is a sign of ignorance, like being a red-neck. I think this attitude is a sure sign of being a snob. It is a form of entertainment. Do you enjoy movies, etc? A friend of mine ridicules those that follow - care so much about their favorite sport, but he likes to watch figure skating and can't explain why this is any different. Watching the best in the world do something you did as a kid (hockey/baseball/whatever), and knowing how difficult it actually is for them to do it so well, is entertaining. Sports serves a valuable purpose. It allows people to hate another group without it being real. The world would be a better place if everyone could vent their anger against the rivals of their favorite team. Diesel powered cars should have the exhaust right on top of the hood. I'm sure there are some that don't belch out soot when accelerating, but they are a distinct minority. Just like everyone else, the Jump Shack still offers a reserve free bag that does not use mil-spec bands. Plenty of bag locks happen with mil-spec bands, but the fact that they typically break easy is a damn good reason not to use them for locking stows. The locking stows are often under a lot of tension even before the bag is accelerated off your back. If your locking stows break at the wrong time you have bag dump and a likely explosive opening. I think that a good many explosive openings are due to locking stows breaking at the wrong time. I would rather deal with a high speed bag lock than an explosive opening than injures me and destroys my canopy. Notice how the jump shack's new reserve 'speed bag' uses so many of these rubber bands as locking stows. John Sherman doesn't trust his reserve design to just a couple of those wimpy things. I make my own tube stows. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I don't know what setting I accidentally changed, but now if I'm moving files around, I must manually refresh, and I can't find any setting in the "Tools/Folder Options" that is related to this, I'm running XP home edition. The SC (5 of them) said that it could not make a distinction between the public good of a road expansion and increasing tax revenue. It could not find a constitutional reason to overturn a state law. If the state law did not allow eminent domain to be applied for the purpose of increased tax revenue, that is the end of it - there is no federal 'definition'. Didn't anybody notice that the SC advised states to change laws to limit the power now allowed by their own ruling. I think this might be a case where the court decided based upon the constitution, and not upon their personal view of fairness. Of course the other 4 judges did not agree, but this is the way it should work. Citizens can now lobby their representatives to pass laws to remedy this decision, just as the SC has advised. From an earlier post by the old guy with the big beard: The red cable is Teflon. It is very slippery, but not very tough. (You can even damage it with your fingernail.)
