The "45 degree rule" for exit separation DOES NOT WORK

If I want to send flowers to someone distant, I just find a local florist on some online yellow pages and call them directly. Definitely cheaper than paying through FTD, etc. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. MP3 players & their USB connection, please help

Thanks everyone for your help. Speed will not be an important issue with my low speed USB. Thanks again. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am -
MP3 players & their USB connection, please help
sundevil777 replied to sundevil777's topic in The Bonfire
I am considering getting an inexpensive MP3 player for my 10 year old: http://www.shopzilla.com/12--SanDisk_Sansa_E130_512_MB_MP3_Player_-_cat_id--499__oid--__prod_id--319231379 What do you think of this unit for its price? Also, it says it uses a high speed USB connection. How do I confirm my PC has the high speed type of USB? Will it still work if my USB connection is not the higher speed type? Apparently it is an Intel 82801 BA/BAM...I can look up more details if needed. Thanks for your help. Of course it is easy to know the final vertical component of drag, but what about the horizontal component, or the profile of the drag/speed in either direction before it reaches equilibrium. The 45 deg rule is still crap. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I assumed that you were more 'gravity enhanced/fatter' based on your fallrate. You are not very heavy for your height, so their advise is probably good, although it is hard to reconcile that with your protrack data. I would probably still consider the swoop suit for a more versatile fallrate though. Are you perhaps arching a lot instead of being more flat? This can make a big difference. Is that 124-130 TAS or SAS speed? Look at your protrack manual if you don't already know the difference. My experience is that 112-118 SAS is typical for the RW loads I've been doing since having my protrack, typically 6 to 12 person groups with good organizers. I've only had Tony suits, so if you get one of theirs, get the "Tony Suit" model with the heavy fabric - it is hotter, but you need the drag (don't even think about the swoop or comp model). Tell them to make the leg grippers like the swoop/comp models instead of that stupid 'S' style that is std on the Tony model. Get the inside leg grippers, and definitely get the double layer arms and cordura booties for extra drag, it does work. I also have the swoop cords, but have never needed them since buying a suit for my weight (6'1", 230 lb). Tell the suit mfg your weight now, not what you think it will be in the future. Good luck. I think that broken rubber locking stow bands cause a lot of bag dump. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

It is not ZP. What is your weight? I jump a PD210 loaded at about 1.15:1. It still flies so well that I can't justify getting rid of it yet. I think that they are perhaps the best flying non-ZP canopies out there. It will be much sportier than a Manta. Expect to actually have a chance to get it to plane out on landing, depending on your weight. How much do you weigh? Your case is unusual. Even so, it is natural for us to be cautious. Perhaps you are less likely to be forced into a low turn to avoid traffic while paragliding (skydivers I would guess have busier landing areas). I would also guess that the consequences of a low turn under a paraglider are more severe, so your instincts are likely to be on the safe side. Maybe all skydiving parachutes fly like rubbish compared to paragliders, given their relative aspect ratios and such. There is so much to be learned. Not only from the war itself, but especially the time between the wars. I think The Gathering Storm by Churchill should be required reading in schools. I also think the 1974 series, World at War to be the most intelligent documentary on the tube. With all the patched together, incomplete documentary crap that is on cable now, it is really sad that this series has not been shown in so long. It is not yet available on Netflix either. If I remember right, Sun Path made a new harness for our packer's rig for about $350. That may have also included a new flap or two. Personally, I would want the mfg to do it. Why focus on when they are thrown from cars? I have seen many flick them away when standing next to a dedicated bin for butts! There must be something very satisfying about flicking it away. I disagree, even if triple stowed, there is still only one 'path' for the band back to where it is attached to the d-bag, so there should be no change to the maximum breaking strength. Rubber stow bands should not be relied upon to break: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1938376#1938376 To skydiver8282, try making another larkshead on the d-bag with the long bands to effectively make them shorter. Physical abuse by police is not new. Police being caught on video is relatively new. It is a good thing when this kind of abuse is shown to the public, because police can no longer assume they will get away with it. Police paying a price for abusing their power is now reality. Police also watch this video and others, and must consider that they don't want to be the one caught taking out their frustrations/having fun/etc. That is a good thing. You chose wisely going with that handle. I've used it for real. Much better than the other weird shaped alternatives, they all stick out as much as the std D-handle (no benefit in my opinion).
