Your rig leg straps can also affect the length of the legs. Best to try the suggested tests with your rig on, I think. You really should have gotten inside leg grips. Have muslims kept Muhammad’s dark past a secret?
sundevil777 replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
Quite right, the western world should not be gentle to the Islamic faith just because it will offend muslims. That is exactly what is happening to a large degree. Other religions do not get such gentle treatment, and muslims should have to endure it also. For those that are offended, too bad. Not so easy to get crank windows anymore. I understand what you're saying about camping, but you limit yourself severely with newer vehicles. I know that for Hondas, crank windows are only available for the very lowest trim level, and only a very small number of such vehicles are made per year. I suspect that Nissan is similar. The features/options you want may not be available as a combination, such as the upper level feature of extended cab with the lowest level feature of crank windows. In the '70s, it was much more possible to get a strange combination of options from the big 3. Manufacturers have decided that it isn't worth it anymore to offer such customization, they just don't care if that's what you want, because you are not at all typical. Good luck finding what you want. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. The price of peace between Israel and the Palestinians
sundevil777 replied to Darius11's topic in Speakers Corner
I don't think it is quite as described (Israelis not willing to negotiate - what a load of bull). Try this again: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,50830,00.html from my post in the Munich thread: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2032854#2032854 People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. Man, it must be hard being a Democrat...
sundevil777 replied to peacefuljeffrey's topic in Speakers Corner
Actually not..but anyway at it is not a democracy anymore, you can say what you want! Nope, they did in fact lose in 2000. It was essentially a dead heat, but with the processes we have in place, Bush won fairly. Well, he won non-violently, with no tanks in the street. Let's leave it at that. Even the multiple newspapers and such that did their own recount confirmed the result of the florida recount. The US Supreme Court asked the Florida Supreme Court to explain their decision (that was overturned). The Florida Court chose not to reply. The Boeing 777-200LR, new long distance champ:

Man, I did London to HK in about 14 hours on a 747. I'm not getting on a plane that flies that slowly... I think the difference is that they flew east from Hong Kong (the long way). Have muslims kept Muhammad’s dark past a secret?
sundevil777 replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
I don't think so. Individuals get a lot of heat for their actions, but Islam as a religion is mostly given a pass by mainstream media, wouldn't want to get them mad and all that... Have muslims kept Muhammad’s dark past a secret?
sundevil777 replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
I think they have. I do not pretend that the history of christians and jews is not worthy of criticism, but that is not suppressed the way that muslims would like their history to be. Remember the bounty put on the head of the author of Satanic Verses? How much more obvious can the answer to my question get? So, I think the islamic faith is worthy of at least as much criticism as other faiths have endured. http://www.answeringinfidels.com/content/view/58/0/ People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. You probably just have to modify the pads and where they are tacked on to the straps, not modify the straps themselves, so it is not a big deal for any rigger that has replaced leg pads before. Military vs Insurgents - viewpoint: helicopter over 2 miles away
sundevil777 replied to BillyVance's topic in Speakers Corner
You do remember all the people in Iraq that did greet the US troops as liberators, right? You do remember them smacking the likeness of SH with their shoes, pulling his statue down, right? The bomb setters would continue to set their bombs against the new Iraqi government forces even if every US soldier left today. To pretend it is all about the US as invaders is a diversion from the real challenges there. I think the biggest challenge is for the religious leaders to have the courage to advocate peace with non-muslims and to prevent corruption and organized crime/mafia style power struggles that prevent real freedom and a free market economy. I think that is reasonable position and likely would have been supported by the founders. If it is nothing more than a 'choice' a minute before birth would have happened, then why not a minute after birth? The distinction of being in or out of the body is not important, in my opinion. I think very few people would say that if it is inside the body of the woman it can't be considered murder. To call it 'choice' is such an awful euphemism. If you want others to install it, go look in their install dept and check out the quality of their work and how they treat the cars as they take them apart. If you are going to install it yourself, go with crutchfield, or at least get a copy of their instructions and their connector adapters so you don't have to cut or splice anything in your dash. They are also really good at letting you know what stereos fit into what cars. Which of the remarks do you find detestable or viciously racist. The "don't pity the poor" might be rough, but what else? I especially agree with "I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion", and "I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement." Hong Kong to London 13422 miles in less than 22 hours: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/boeingaerospace/2002780060_boeing03.html In a normal flight with safety margin, etc, it can take 301 mixed class passengers 9966 miles. Singapore-New York in a little more than 18 hours. Pakistan to the US, and Sydney to Toronto or New York are other long distance routes the plane will serve. Very cool I think. I also think that the Boeing is smart to more agressively go after the thing that so many want, and get nowadays from airlines - point to point service with more flights (with the 777 and 787), a type of service not easy to do with ultra big planes. Airbus' pursuit of having the biggest plane may be an economic failure just as the concorde was. Boeing was smart to cancel their supersonic program, and a much less expensive, slightly larger 747 can acccomplish what the market demands in large planes. In my previous work life, I designed about 40 switch panels in the flight deck for the 777, hence that part of my username. I'm not a pilot, but sure learned a lot about the systems and flight crew operations. I think it is reasonable to impose some restrictions on gross displays of many kinds in public places, and the fetus picture would qualify to me. So you don't feel there should be any limitation on how developed the baby is/viability? Is destroying the baby while inside a woman always 'a personal decision/right to choose' even if at 9 months development, while if it is outside the body for 1 second it is suddenly murder? I think that position is unreasonable. I think that there should be limits based upon the age of the baby, and it should be a law or constitutional amendment. The national and/or state legislatures should address this directly and face the political consequences, and not leave it to the courts based upon medical privacy. I think that is reasonable, some limitation on development stage. I believe, and so do most people, that at some point it is murder, and that is certainly an appropriate thing for legislatures to make illegal. OTOH the Liberals on the SCOTUS have passed a law which does this exactly. Quite right, and I think the impact of their ruling is bad, however they did advise the states to pass laws to limit the scope of eminent domain. I think this is a case where the liberals actually did not make their ruling based on what is fair, but on how they interpret the law, and recommended to the states that they improve the fairness of the law. If you don't size the container for what you've got now, it will be very stiff (uncomfortable), hard and frustrating to pack, and likely will look bad. It is not very satisfying to spend so much money and have new gear with these troubles. edit - since it is a stock rig, you really should try it out with the reserve in it to check how the main fits before you commit to buying it. I didn't feel nothin' either. I remember the first one here in Washington I felt. 1994 or so. I was on duty in the Army at a comm station during one of the bigger ones. The building shook, and I ran into the second room and yelled at our new guys, "What the hell?! Is artillery WAY the f*ck off their mark or WHAT?!" I remember Pvt Demons laughing at me, "What Panico, you never been in an earthquake before? She-it, girl..." "Uh, no. Nevermind. Carry on." During that one, I ran outside my house, expecting to see flames from a jet that had crashed. I lived at the north end of the Sea-tac runway.
