Thanks Snowflake I have LOADS of freefly experience and some of these tips on the basics are going to help tremedously. It just so happens I'm taking a fairly new Freeflyer out this coming weekend. He can sit already pretty well. I'm going to teach the arm thing you mentioned in #2. I just never thought of it.

Alaska Jon is an Exceptional!!! freefly Coach. I've watched him several times with students and have picked up new coaching techniques every time. I seldom coach any more so unfortuanately I have forgotten much of it. He administered my Atmosphere Dolphin test Back WAY back when I had more jumps than he did, so I could compete in the first space games. That dude can Fly! Washing a rig, Relative workshop says it eventually will Weaken the lift web? Out of curiosity, Assuming you were to pick up vehicle with the harness, does that mean it will no longer hold up a 67 pontiac GTO and will now only hold up a Toyota Pickup? Had to throw that in You'll hate what I do with mine. I disasemble it, mate all the velcro and Tie loose webbing securely. Then toss it in a Tumble washer ( a front loader) with mild detergent in cold. Then I hang it to dry some where in my home. If a breeze is desireable, You can simulate a breeze with a fan It's fabric. It's REALLY TOUGH Fabric. Since I very seldom wash any rigs, I've yet to wash a customers rig that way but seriously I see no reason at all not to. It's probably easier on the container than High pressure washing. The 190 will be difficult to sell. How much do you weigh? What are planning on flying right now? Depending on your personality(aggressive, conservative), that 190 may or may not ever be a good parachute for you. The size is well... for a stiletto.... it's rather big. That depends on how you define freefly friendly. Most rigs can handle a head down. Head down is just position. I believe it was a colaboration with the same guy who designed the "wings" Wings is a nice rig. I would freefly the shit out of a new wings.... a Dolphin? No way. http://www.eclipsecontainerparts.com A little pricey. The soft reserve handle is great though.. It's actually a pipe so gripping it is easy. If you choose to get one ask to make it a 3 inch handle. A good rigger can put a pd126 in an A size or a mr 135. The stiletto 135 should be pretty snug in there. Pack the reserve like a vector. Sounds like a certain owners manual and RSL's And I have several videos of malfunctions caused by this very same thing. Radical Malfunctions... Not just spinning line twist's either. Fucking Radical Malfunctions. If you were to do over unders and Carving and head down spins, Multiple cartwheels and flips, THEN... "no big deal".. becomes a GREAT big deal. Headdown is just a position. Freeflying is much more than that. Any rig where the riser covers come open is NOT a rig that should be a freefly rig. There are many rigs that don't require holding a static headdown with an arm out to hold the risers in place. Enough Ranting. I'll clean my room now.
