Are you looking to buy this canopy? I noticed your profile says you have 42 jumps. How accurate is that? F-111 has been known to last well over 1000 jumps. Unfortunately though, the resale is not usually very high since a good ZP canopy just doesn't wear out very easily. Check the line trim. I'll make a first guess that it has 825 microline. Climb through the canopy and feel the condition of the material and look for holes and basically just look that it's in good condition. There are so many variables that make a canopy last long or wear out. Has it been packed outside in the sun? Does it get packed indoors? what are the conditions of the DZ this canopy has been flown? Sand ? Grass? Feel Free to PM me on this. I'll give a more detailed opinion and help make suggestions as to what a good canopy for the flying style and experience level you are currently at. You'll be happy with the infinity. The location of the facility compared to where you live is also a definate plus. I would definatley be happy to own one as it's built very well and is extremely freefly and skysurf friendly. While performing spins over unders and lots for flips an layouts and such, the riser covers and flaps stay closed until you decide they should be open. (that sounds like an add:) Just so you know, I don't jump one, but I truly like the container) No need to call across the states when you have a great container in your own back yard. It can be done, but generally it's a temporary fix. If it were on my back I'd always have some form of gear fear. It's best to leave the vector 2 a damn good RW rig and get something else that starts out freefly friendly. There's more than just the Main Pin cover flap and the risers that make the Vector-2 a much less desireable freefly rig than a rig should be. I like the way you think. Great Post. My DZO has been pissed at me for taking the student and myself off the load since I felt they would have to repeat the level had we not trained further. I could always use the money but helping create a good safe skydiver is much more fulfilling. Thanks for the thoughts on the subject.
