Yes I have and they look like dead birds. I hit one going 100 mph way back in the day, while driving my 1965 delta 88 and He stuck in the grill. besides no longer living, he looked almost perfect. Also, I've also opened right next to Falcons (the bird of prey, not the canopy) at 2500 feet. It was strange how unconcerned he appeared cuz he just kept flying near me. Greetings, a skydiver friend is in need of a temporary place near Oakland/Berkely area. Where she is staying right now, is completely unacceptable. If there is a couch floor closet what ever, until her new place becomes available, that would be great. If any one in that area can help, PM me and I'll give you the details. rmcvey, The question I forgot to include, What brand pilot chute are you using? I will certainly make an attempt to use a 20 or 22 inch pilot chute in the future just to satisfy my own curiosity of it's affectiveness. If I don't try it, I can not comment on it. If you can deal with that type of hesitation feel again, get a video of the opening. *what brand pilot chute? *What type and size of cantainer do you have? *how tight does the main fit into the main packtray *How long is the bridle from the pin to the base of the pilot chute? I've wondered the same. There's a good video of a Test jump I made. After the cutaway, the delay was exactly 1 second before pulling the reserve ripcord. Exactly 2 seconds ofter that, I was under a pressurized reserve. I guess time will tell. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
