Where did I say you endorsed it? You making this up again? What did you do that required a backbone? Posting a link to a forum where somebody says they don't like Dropzone.com? That hardly requires a backbone. Oh yes, everyone here knows where you come from. As for being intimidated. Last weeek you made a post saying you were a "victim". Now you're not easily intimidated. I expect you'll make a post that says "That was 2 years ago and I apologized and why do you hold it against me" The fact is, even though you apologized you've continued with that kind of behavior. It got you banned a few times, even after this post. You constantly verbally abuse people via PMs in exactly the same manner and style as what you did to me. You can whine about PMs not being private (and I know why you are concerned that people may share some of your PMs) as much as you want, but I am the person who people contact when you do this to them - and rightfully so. Oh yes, if you're still uncertain about where I come from, read this post of mine from 2 years ago again, especially the part about not trying to please everyone... Ok - I fixed this.

Somebody noticed! Here's a PM I just recieved: Hehehehe! Yes I sure can! People were able to post gear reviews (not dz) long before Dropzone.com had a login system and usernames. When I implemented the login system a few years ago I did not want to loose those reviews, and obviously the names that people posted them under did not exist as actual usernames on the site. So, with no usernames to associate the reviews with, I migrated all the reviews over under my name. When you view the review, the name the person entered at the time will still be displayed. Then name simply links to my profile. No, I did not write 276 gear reviews! I will associate them with username = "admin" in the near future to get them out of my "sandbox".

See that's exactly their problem, they can't do that here. Nothing for you to worry about.

It's incredibly non-thought-provoking and almost as profound as cold rice pudding. The same 5 people say the same things at least once every 3 months about Dropzone.com on rec.skydiving. rec.skydiving total number of messages for October (mailgate.org) = 2,862 Dropzone.com messages in the last month = 47,239 Must be because we don't "get" it. Heya all, I've added some personalized content from the site to your User Profile view. I will continue to build this out. The idea is to bring your contributions to the site into one area from where you can easily manage it and where others can view what you have out there. You have to be a registered user to be able to view these tabs! If you click on any username you will still see the user profile but now with 3 Tabs: Profile - The Profile tab brings you back to the user profile Reviews - The Reviews tab will show you all gear and DZ reviews the person has written in the Gear and Dropzone databases Classifieds - The Classifieds tab will show you any gear the user has for sale in the classifieds at this momentAn additional word on Reviews. Please look at the attachment. People often don't fill in all the fields when they submit a review. This is a great opportunity for you to modify and update all your old reviews and also make sure you've provided all the information. A complete review summary will look like the one in the attachment. To read the actual review text, click on Read this Review on the right. There are a few components that are often missing. If some of your reviews don't have some of these, go update it! (numbers on the graphic) Review Subject - Your review should have a review subject. Users often forget to enter a short subject. Recommend - A little thumbs up or thumbs down graphic will appear depending on whether you recommend the item (or DZ) you reviewed or not. Star Rating - A star rating (1 to 5) with 1 low and 5 high will appear if you remembered to rate the item or DZ. Pros and Cons - Fill in the Pros and Cons of the item you reviewed. Shorts sentences or a few key points. Modify your Review - This link will only appear if you actually view your own review summary. Others will not see it. This gives you a quick way to get your reviews up to date. Rest of this should be pretty clear. Enjoy!

Folks, I spoke with the clever people who helped me with this. If you set up the rule the way I have it, then the emails marked by the spam filter will be deleted before they even get to your mail box! The ones that you are still seeing are those that made it through the filter.

Clcik the log out button in the top right corner of this page (under email) Or go to myDZ all the way in the top right.... log out, log back in. I suspect somebidy else is still logged in on that machine. Safe swoops Sangiro
