Jumper landed out on a windy day with strong gusts. It appears he made a low turn (unsure if this contributed to the final event) to a downwind landing. The jumper was in a coma with multiple injuries and was taken of live support on January 14, 2004.

How is the fact that this person is a moderator relevant? If somebody did something stupid while skydiving then lets have the discussion and learn from it. I don't care if the person is the "President of the Brotherhood of who gives a damn!". With that being said: I think you're trying to sensationalize this by drawing a relationship between an individual's stupid actions while skydiving (if in fact that was the case) and the fact that the person moderates on Dropzone.com. On that I call BS, as will others if it's shown that this was your only driver for this post. A bit silly if you ask me. Safe swoops Sangiro

There's a funny little article on the home page where people in the UK in a poll said they'd rather tandem with Homer Simpson than George Bush. Seeing as I'm from Africa I really care less who people in the UK want to jump with. Also, I wasn't one of the people they called for the poll, but I do think a tandem with Homer would be hard to pass up on!
