Heya all, About 3 months ago I realized that the combination of Dropzone.com and my "real job" at Sapient has finally become a bit too much for me. As a Director at Sapient I work pretty full days and then sit down between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM to clean out my Dropzone.com Inbox and try to write a few lines of code.... Dropzone.com has been piling up in my mind as well. I have a load of ideas that I'd like to implement with simply no time to do so. That frustrates me. I keep thinking of how and knowing that I can make this better... and I can't find the time to do it the way I want to. So it became time to choose. I submitted my resignation back then and today (September 15) was my last day at Sapient. Just thought I'd let you know that I'll be putting all my time and energy into the site in the near future.

The decision to move forward with voluntary user supported subscription services was made for a few reasons: I want to keep Dropzone.com on the web and without this, I can not pay the bills. Heya all, I notice some people are using their signature lines to propagate their party-political views all over the forums. You're welcome to leave it there but then make sure you never post outside the Speaker's Corner. Otherwise, feel free to replace them with your favorite quote from Calvin and Hobbes. I can turn off the ability to have a signature by individual, so there's no point trying to muck around with this one... The great majority of us don't come here for political inspiration. There's a forum for it, but I personally would like to see as little of it as possible so keep it there please. Safe swoops Sangiro
