    blood guts and tarentino's usual culture-pop stealing bullshitting narrative. just reading the opening pages showed it is more of the same.... i'm glad he releases new films rarely, so he stays out of the conversation for years at a time... a movie like usual suspects was far more interesting than resevoir dogs...10 minutes starting a film talking about Madonna song? Or 5 minutes talking about 'le royal' hamburgers? pop culture is so much more interesting in other screenplays I HIGHLY recommend watching Nick Nolte in "The Good Thief"....good heist caper, and the cultural references are subtle, but still has an edge...Check it out on dvd now....

    pumpkin! yeah that's coming up, the zhills pumpkin accuracy toss... how about that glider plane that hit the trees right next to the landing area on his way to the runway? Alysse and I were both under canopy heading towards that area when we saw the glider hit and slide to the trees(we were high enough out of range that it didn't scare us....except Alysse won't take up my offer to buy her a glider ride!)     We're looking forward to meeting you! Too bad our next tunnel time is the weekend after, you have to join us there on your next visit! We were just watching sunday's video, Bucky was really great, even with the 'bumpier' air due to unfinished renovations... Bring a copy of the Reader...that was my favorite friday read, with its huge listings of whats happening in the home of the blues! I sure miss that club scene! See ya soon, Marc

    Everytime I drive to zhills I am confronted by 2 billboards saying 'Jesus Saves--Accept Him' and the like. So let's see 'Accept Him' OR...? Fill in the blank.... accept Him or GO TO THE HELLFIRE TORMENTS OF ETERNAL DAMNATION!!! I don't buy that, as I don't buy GWBush's comment that 'We are all SINNERS!' (who do you mean by 'we', whiteman? as Tonto once said) That aint MY religion, friend! While I enjoy the humor behind the post's billboards, I detest the history of death and destruction caused by this attitude. "MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY" to hell??? I am reading a very scary book called "constantines sword" by a former catholic priest. It is the history of anti-jewish and anti semiticism from the death of christ to today....my blood boils at the crimes committed in the name of GOD, of any religion! PS while those sitting in church on sunday are looking at heaven and praying, I am up skyflying in heaven and playing!!

    Bill, you were there in spirit, jumping on video sunday nite....we watched Patrick's videos of your muff brothers' jumps at Rantoul! Magic Carpets, Inflatables and more...Even the Golden Knights got muffed in the front row of a carpet ride You and Rabbit were AWESOME organizing and stabilizing all the in air action....kept some tricky rides going all the way till break off. Like Rabbit said, kind of like AFF level one with an inflatable caterpiller!!! Marc

    Hey you guys! I have the pleasure of wearing one of the helmets worn during their gaining the GOLD in Spain!!! I treasure every scratch on it...I have added a few of my own! Yeah! You rock Team Synchronicity! I will wear my stick-on TeamSync tattoos with pride this Labor Day weekend! LauraS: not going to GAP?? I hope they show some video on that site... And I am envious...we haven't got our copies of Parachutist yet!!

    Bomb squad table in the front corner of the porch...big sign over it..here's a photo of a bunch of us relaxing and filling out logbooks after a dive. The tolls arent too expensive. too be honest, I didn't like the drive that Stacy recommended, it didn't seem so fast to me, but new drives always seem longer the first time because there's new things to see...so it's your call! You'll only need more $ for MORE JUMPS! Not a lot to do in zhills, the beer at the dzpub is cheap too! Dont worry about the sign. It says SKYDIVE CITY by the way....just look for the canopies landing...!

    We tried Stacy's directions, they are okay but be sure to give yourself time to get through Lakeland, it can be congested. And as she says, in Lakeland there are a bunch of curves and changes so follow those rt 98 signs. You will end up crossing under I-4, driving on Rt98 for a while till that left turn on 54...(thats a T intersection, and has a huge concrete pillar on the right of the road to mark it...) Take some windex, the love bugs are out in force, and driving down rt 60 they totally covered my windshield till I had to pull over and clean it! See you this weekend at the bombsquad table... Marc PS we drive up from Sarasota and those directions from JeffD are fine. 3 hours from Ft Lauderdale to Sarasota using I-75, another 1:15 from Sarasota to Zhills....

    I have last years Harvest Moon Boogie video, with a bunch of the zhills bomb squad getting initiated. It is not a pretty sight! I am scarred for life because of the vision of Towerrat arising and dancing in ecstacy of becoming an initiate! Be scared be very scared! They make you wear that big sombrero and dance around! I eagerly await my turn on the table! Hope my initiator is as nice as Cielo Madre!!
