Sigsby, I cant say i've been in a wind tunnel but being a student, i bet it would help me a lot!!! Fall rate exercises and go for some back loops. Alright i just thought of another but i didnt have time to think if its funny or not. It's true though. **you know your a skydiver when anytime your driving w/your arm and hand out the window ppl wave, thinking your waving at them, with a confuzed look on their face. This one happend to me a couple of days ago, hopefully some can relate. **you know your a skydiver when your walking to your mailbox and you walk right into it because your staring at the sky. -
I want to know of all the ppl that jump at Skydive Chicago. I need to start meeting ppl there and I'm too shy to go up and talk to ppl. ( dammit ) If you see some dude chillin' in the commons reading a parachutist, come say what up! And if you live near elgin, il i'd be down for car pooling, let me know....

Good to meet you greg, i definatly agree to what u said about having dropzone.com to break up my work day. Hopefully i finish my AFP course this weekend ( 6 more jumps!! ) and i took monday and tuesday off of work to skydive. Since skydive chicago is only open wed-sun im gonna do some fun jumps at Skydive Illinois. Another thing, thanx to everyone for ur response and input. i look fowarding to meeting u crazy ppl that jump out of planes when i tour the country's dzs next year. blue skies, cold beer chris

call me crazy, but i was scared shitless on my 2nd tandem. my first was straight and i dont know why. i think its because i sat shot gun w/ the pilot and just dwelled on it. and whoever said " i wish we would get rained out" i totally agree, my first couple of afp jumps i would think to myself "why the hell do i do this?", and then i would land safely under an open canopy and think " when can i do this again?", now im just pumped and ready to complete the task at hand. the confidence will come. blue skies, cold beer chris

I get that same crap from my parents.."goin' to jump again are ya? well, dont forget your gonna need a car soon." dammit, my car runs fine. a little rust never hurt performance. i dont need a car what i need is a rig. im saving. where do u jump at? 6 hours sounds like a pain it the kiester. do u go alone? it sux i go down there by myself every weekend and my friends only call me when its suposed to be crappy. ( true to life, u know ur a skydiver when) oh well, i have a second identy that jumps out of planes about 3 times a week and i know my friends are gettin' pissed when i talk about it ( another true to life, you know ur a skydiver when ) chris

sis, Even though its the only dz ive been to, i cant say ive had a bad experience there. the jm's are awesome, its on like 230 acres w/ a stocked fishing/swimming pond and its right on the fox river. I guess roger has plans to have a wind tunnel built in 2002 or 2003. that will be fricken awesome. its nice to meet u sis and i'm a regular weekend warrior because of work. i wish id get fired or something. blue skies, cold beer chris
