Well...whoever your visitor was must have forgotten to stop at ZHills or they have a personal issue with ZHills as there are multiple loads going up on a daily basis. And, yes, I mean daily. It is not uncommon for me to stop by the DZ after work and get on a jump. And, now that the days are getting longer, I even have the opportunity of getting on 2 jumps at the end of the day. Much has been said about "tough love" for misbehaving children. Most of America's populace thinks it very improper to spank children, so my spouse and I have tried other methods to control our kids when they have one of "those moments". One that we found very effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk. They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our little car ride together. Nice DZ and very friendly people. Check-in was very quick and easy. Gotta agree...it was very funny when Kevin from P.D. asked us to belly fly with him and Richard. Met Brian Germain and Michelle Germain. Had been corresponding with Michelle about demoing a Lotus 150. When Brian got to the DZ, he willingly hooked up the Lotus for me and answered a bazillion questions that I had. Quite a patient teacher and more than willing to share his knowledge with you. Ended up getting in 3 jumps and grew more comfortable with the Lotus as I jumped it more. Never realized how docile my Silhouette is until I jumped this one. But, boy...did I have fun playing with it, and Brian was even giving me pointers on the plane ride up on doing different things with the canopy. And, for anyone who meets up with him, take his canopy control class...ask him questions...pick his brain...he's more than willing to share the knowledge he has.

1 loooooong ride back from Skydive SoBe: 3: 2 Went to Skydive SoBe's boogie on Saturday. Got in 3 nice jumps. 2 cases of beer owed due to first time jumping at SoBe and 1st time demoing a Lotus 150. Had a nice chat with Brian Germain and learned a ton from him. Unfortunately, he made me give the canopy back and wouldn't let me take it. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Depends...if I buy coffee at Starbucks, I get a Breve which is 2 shots of espresso with half 'n half. If I make the coffee at home, I have a variety of creamers that I add. My current favorite is Kahlua (non-alcholic) or Cinnamon Hazelnut creamer. And, if I'm out to dinner (or have it in the house and I'm not jumping), then I'll add either Baileys or Kahlua (alcoholic) to it. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Cinnamon Roll oatmeal for breakfast and a French Vanilla yogurt for a snack. Getting ready to go nuke lunch in a few which will be a Smart Ones Salsbury Steak with macaroni and cheese.
