    No, I would not jump on pain meds (i.e. prescription). If I took a Tylenol or Excedrin - no biggie as those do not impair functions. But, Vicodin, etc. - anything that impairs function - absolutely not. I will not put myself or others in jeopardy. The sky will wait - risking killing or injuring myself or someone else because I jumped while under the influence of a pain med - unforgiveable. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly!     I haven't read this entire thread but thought I'd point something out. Keep in mind that if you shoot the person that broke in to your house and do not kill them, you could be sued by the individual as you obviously did not feel completely threatened since you did not kill them. MONEY CAN BE REPLACED!!! PEOPLE CAN NOT!!!!     The drive from the DZ to Tampa isn't that bad at all - you're looking at approximately a 35 minute drive from the DZ to USF. Apartment rentals near USF range from mid-400's to "YIKES!" There are, also, places available for rent in ZHills and the many areas in between. Just depends on what you're looking for. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly!     I've been there. Found out Jan. 2003 that I'd be unemployed sometime that year. Finally got my 60 day notice that as of Sep. 2, 2003, I'd be unemployed. During that time I made the decision to move out of Wisconsin, did a few trips to places I was considering, jumped at those locations, and moved. Of course, I moved twice - once to Cali and then to Florida. It's depressing to get the layoff notice, but it's also a huge opportunity to do something. Good luck! You'll do fine.
