It is a different witness but they both describe a similar incident. Would be nice to have the location of the second incident.

This is interesting,, Bill Rollins posted a video about his suspect but he also tracked down a woman who saw a man walking West in black slacks and white dress-type shirt and he identified Lewis River Road and the cross street as Fredrickson Road. The man was approx. 6 ft, medium build, dark short hair and 30-40 yrs.. That street location had been redacted in the FBI file.. This location is right under the flightpath right at the 8:10 time. It is the northern end of Cooper's LZ just N of the Lewis River. The woman seems very credible... the description and location match Cooper.. Bill Rollins video..

Chaucer doesn't just walk it back he runs it back.. To move the LZ south you have to discredit both Soderlind and Rataczak.. From Minneapolis Soderlind was listening to the radio, communicated with 305 and took time marked notes,, he used his first hand experience and notes to create an LZ,, the first one was much larger because they didn't know exactly where the plane was at a given time. The LZ was revised as flight data was acquired. This was from Soderlind. and in 1978 the FBI was looking for Soderlind's original notes.. Rataczak claimed he called Soderlind before the suburbs of Portland. This is not where Rataczak thought Cooper jumped but marks the latest time/location he called Soderlind.. Between 8:05, the last comm with Cooper and his call to Soderlind (10 min later, 8:15 is about Battleground).. Rataczak thought Cooper jumped near the Lewis River.

Why would Carr be expected to know anything about this.. Carr and the FBI is still looking for the cigarette butts that the FBI destroyed within weeks of the hijacking. Ask Rataczak to clarify the shrimp boat statement he made in interviews. Either it is true or you have to believe he lied and made it all up.. good luck. Soderlind kept handwritten notes of his comms with 305 as I posted already,,, in 1978 the FBI wanted his originals.. BBC show Witness 2015 interview with Bill Rataczak... "and I could feel the stairs coming down we then felt a big bump in our ear" (that is inconvenient) "So, when he jumped and left the airplane at that very moment I got on the radio to air traffic control and I said" (ATC not Soderlind) "QUOTE, I think our friend has just taken leave of us, mark it on your shrimp boats" (radar screen) https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-db-cooper-mystery/id1345477018?i=1000401601791

My post here is part 65,, no idea what is on Shutter's site about Soderlind.

That is problem and lure of the Cooper Vortex... I have gone through and tried to list all the info we have on Cooper for a profile and we actually have very few facts.. lots of inferences but few hard facts. You can question almost everything. It is like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle with only 40% of the pieces for that puzzle, 30% are from a completely different puzzle and 30% is missing/unknown..

It is there, but I got it from part 65 p. 121-122

Yes, we will never know beyond a bunch of competing theories.. I have about four that are all viable within the parameters of the evidence.... there are probably some nobody has yet thought of.. Understanding how the money got into the River may help us understand what happened to Cooper or maybe not.. All we know for sure is that there was at least 3 packets of 100 bills separated from him.. The big mistake people make is to use the money find location to reject all the flightpath and LZ evidence.. The evidence.. The so called FBI flightpath is solid.. within the 1 mile plotting error.. The LZ between about Merwin and Battleground is solid. The money was given to Cooper in rubber banded bundles of several packets. At least three packets were separated from Cooper.
-
No, the only issue I have is the money going through that suction dredge and ending up on the beach in that condition and order.. I don't see it.. remember the money went to Cooper in rubber banded bundles of several packets of 100's.. the FBI said it was it the same order and packing as it went to Cooper. If it went through that dredge it would have been more dispersed and destroyed.. So, IMO the packets of money most likely landed on TBAR as one single rubber banded bundle.. most people don't seem to agree but that is my interpretation of the evidence. As for the dredge spoils,, I believe there was more activity than the 1974 operation but I don't know how that would affect the money or the timing of the deposit. We have no certainty there.
-
The 1960 image shows the money spot,, TBAR is there but it had more trees. There are two different issues,, Did the money get tossed up by a dredge,, I don't see the money going through a suction dredge and you have to account for the diatoms.. What was the layer Palmer identified as the 1974 dredge layer.. was he correct or was it an earlier later.. not sure, but from my reading 1974 wasn't the only dredge operation at TBAR and definitely not the only dredge operation in the area. Material was moved and dumped on the other side and even in the middle of the River, both upstream. The money found at depth was probably moved during the excavation process.. but, it is impossible to know for sure how the money got onto TBAR,, the question is how did it get into the River and where did it go after the hijacking. No, Cooper did not bury the money the night of the hijacking in the wet sand in the winter next to a River then return to retrieve it when it was 6 ft under water..
-
TBAR money,, Found fragments of at least two other bills.. Palmer.. no evidence money was at 3 ft.. surmised it was deposited there by digging actions.
-
Two cards were found SN 226, 1957 and SN 60-9707, 1960.. both packed by Cossey May 21,1971.. clearly both of Hayden's chutes. and the FBI claims they didn't have the serial, numbers. Cossey,, pilot chutes do not have numbers..
-
McCoy did not have the same or identical tie/clip, it was recalled as "similar" by a witness.. less certainty than expressed by Calame and Rhodes.. McCoy photo strongly rejected by witnesses.

Like most things in the Cooper case, nothing is certain,, the tide range is about 1.5 - 2.5 ft.. the water level looks very close in those images. It is clear the shoreline at the money find spot changed between 1971 and 1973, a dredge/beach replacement is most likely but not confirmed. There was also the '72 flood. Whatever it was, there was a change in the shore at the money spot between 71 and 73.. Here is a higher water level in 1970,, no undulations in the shoreline.
-
I think I posted this image before but... The TBAR shoreline right at the money spot looks to have been replenished before the famous 1974 dredge operation and after Sept 71.. Remember, the 74 dredge operation shows South of the money spot, this is exactly at the money spot. September 1971 on the left and Jul 1973 on the right. See the two shoreline bumps on the right side image,, right at the money find spot.. That image suggests a potential dredge operation exactly at the money spot between September 1971 and July 1973.. I have not been able to find any records.. (The money spot is in line with the bottom of the triangle of trees, follow the bottom line right to the river)

Here,, Soderlind in Minneapolis took notes while in contact with flight 305. He marked the times,, pressure bump and oscillation occurred at 22:10 Minneapolis time. He was in direct contact with the crew..
-
Here is Ulis's Cooper case summed in 9 minutes of pure bunk... Warning, most of this is made up or does not fit the evidence..
-
I think there was more dredging activity on TBAR than the 74 operation.. locals in 1980 stated that there was beach replenishment often. The 74 operation may have been the only channel operation but not the only dredging. Palmer assumes the layer was from the 74 dredge operation but it might not have been. but, the 74 dredge spoils were deposited upstream of the money find spot in large mounds that migrated into the river.. The river likely spread the dredge material downstream over the money find spot.

Yes, another one of those in that lowest suspect category of people who either know or are related to Cooper, have a great story but no evidence and even contradict the case facts.. some may believe what they say, some are just BS'ers.. and people with limited case knowledge get sucked into these stories. But, there is an actual "Shelton" suspect the FBI wanted to do DNA on.. He moved to Shelton from Campbell Ca.. The Shelton references throughout the FBI are not the same person.. so info has been somewhat conflated. There are many many suspects in the FBI files that are mentioned but never resolved.. But, I try to avoid the nonsense suspects because they have sucked a lot of oxygen out of the case and are easily eliminated.. Weber, Reca, LD Cooper, Dayton, Christiansen, Chael's guy, etc... slightly better but easily eliminated, Peterson, McCoy, Rackstraw... some others are better but lack info.. Lots of newer people in the case on Reddit chasing false suspects, theories and speculation.. that is part of the learning process. Start with the case facts,, not a suspect.

Jeswine's number is still searchable on the FAA site,, it wasn't changed.. and I am not sure he is still alive. I assume the packing card went with the chute to the museum but it is probably still inside the pocket and not on display.
-
Confirmed it was William (Bill) Jeswine who twice repacked the chute Cooper left on the plane and was returned to Hayden..
-
No way,, the Shelton lead is not one person but is a conflation of tips and a suspect who moved from California.. a red herring. Aitken lived his entire life in Shelton. Aitken may be the guy Chael claimed was Cooper but his story is nonsense. Like many who claimed to either know or be related to Cooper,, no evidence and wrong info. Edit,, Chael said his Cooper suspect died in Arizona,, this isn't that guy. Welcome to the Vortex, you can enter but you can never leave.

Forget about Carr.. his "died in jump" argument is flawed because he doesn't know the facts. He and the FBI got played by Cossey just like he played the media.. Carr thought Cooper used Cossey's PERSONALLY modified hard to pull chute. He didn't. Hayden bought the chutes at a surplus shop, the shop got them repacked by Cossey, Hayden never met Cossey. NO way Cossey packs a hard to pull modified chute (1 of a pair) as a bail out rig for a customer (who never jumps).
