  1. hahah, you like that? That's what my hair will look like after hitting 300mph in a stand
  2. Yup, you're a flamer J/K, haha it looks fine
  3. Nah, not if you have a CYPRES
  4. No you don't look or act 38, I know, it's just a number. BUT, it would be nice to be able to find people my age in my area without wasting public forum space. Like everything else in our profiles, we would be able to choose whether or not to reveal age. I guess it's more important to me, as a youngin' (18), to find more people my age in the sport. I get along just fine with everyone, but I have more in common with someone my age, my experience...and my inability to enter a bar
  5. I posted this once before, when I first joined DZ.com. Since then I have come to know the population a bit better, and learned the ins and outs of the Forums. And I still feel that age would be a nice addition to our profiles. I was also thinking about how nice it would be to be able to search the user database for specific traits such as age/location. That way I could do a search and find all the DZ.commers in my state or region, in my age group yadda yadda yadda. As with everything else, it's up to you HH I just think it would be pretty damn cool
  6. I still think we need the option to put Age in our profiles. And also be able to query the user database for age/location/sex and whatnot.
  7. You can either try reducing the size of the image, or reducing the quality. It's quite easy to do with the standard Imaging program with windows, but you can get better results with a program like Photoshop E-mail me the screenshot and I'll shrink it for you, just use Casch@dropzone.com
  8. For my new Kurupee Freefly Suit
  9. Can you post a pic of your jumpsuit so we design it to match a little better?
  10. I was about to say "No, it's Ctrl + Print Screen", but I just tried it with alt, they both work
  11. I voted skydiving since I haven't had the opportunity to experience sex...some day
  12. Which I understand completely and can not blame anyone for choosing CYPRES over Vigil. Every company has to start somewhere, and I feel that Vigil will develop a good track record just like CYPRES did. And if this happens, Airtech is gonna have to figure out how to compete
  13. Why get Cypres2? Just because Vigil and Cypres2 are near the same initial price? Vigil requires no maintenance, only a new battery every 4 years or 700 jumps. There is no life time for the unit, only for the cutter, 20 years. It would seem to me that the Vigil is much more cost effective.
  14. That sounds exactly like how it was at Kapowsin. Haha we sent the 182 up for the first load of the day with Andy and his GF April. When they cut the engine, the plane literally stopped. It wasn't moving forward at all. Definately a sight to see. Before that I have never seen an airplane just hovering
  15. Ok the second pic is effin' awesome! So's the first one too, but not as much as the second. I love K-pow
  16. We had a great day of jumping at K-pow on saturday , it was overcast most of the day, but the clouds were well beyond 14K it seemed, got full altitude all day. Were the winds really weird at Snohomish too? We had 30-40kt south winds above 3K, and just a North breeze below. That dividing line kept getting lower as the day went on. Definately through everyones landing patterns through a loop
  17. haha, same here. Actually my grad jump was the first jump where I actually jumped with someone. I lost altitude awareness cause I was trying to dock with him after finishing up the grad part of the jump.
  18. I exited a 182 in a banked turn for the first time. I was gonna do a poised exit, but I couldn't even stand up on the step, I felt like I weighed 300lbs. I ended up just rolling off cause I couldn't hold myself up anymore I'm guessing that was only a 30 degree bank, but it was pretty damn fun
  19. My goal is to have at least 200 jumps and a C license by the time I turn 20. And yes, it's a pretty cool feeling knowing that I'm not your average 18 year old. While I'm at the dropzone for the weekend, jumping out of planes, the average person my age is at home playing Playstation or going to the mall, or dancing, and will never experience all the emotions and sensations involved in our sport
  20. haha I did a backward roll out the door of the Otter last saturday while waving and screeming at the Tandems. I held the position and did about 1K ft worth of backloops now that was fun haha. This wasn't my first solo though. Since I'm a S/L baby all my jumps have been solos
