If you use Grokster or full blown Kazaa, definately run Ad-Aware every time you use it, as well as your once a week scan. And make sure you use "Custom Scanning Options and make sure it scans within archives and select EVERYTHING, I've had gator hide itself within archives and all kinds of weird places. Evil bastards

Well, I'm not in a long term position with Merix, full time I can finally afford to by my own gear and make more than 3 or 4 jumps a month

I had one until it was stolen from my glove box. I will get another one soon, but it's not priority. I absolutly loved having a phone everywhere I went though. Came in really handy. For instance, to call AAA when I was stranded on the side of the road with a dead engine

No! This is absolutely disgusting! Where are your morals? If you wanna have sex, wait to find a good guy, and then have sex all you want in a monogamous relationship. Actually I'm with everyone else. The "Friends with Benifits" deal is pretty cool, again, keep feelings out of it. Both parties have to understand that they are just friends...that like to have sex. That said...I wouldn't mind finding someone to share a friends with benefits relationship. It's been too long.

Ok so here's the deal. I'm an 18 year old single male making about 21K a year in Oregon. I'm tired of paying max $$ in taxes, so I want to add some deductions to my W4. But I don't want to under pay and have to write a check for uncle sam next april. So how many deductions should I claim on my W4? 1? 2? I've been trying to look up some tax bracket information to figure it out, but I'm most definately not a tax loving kinda guy...or even a tax understanding guy... Any help would be very much appreciated. I just don't want them to take 45% of my check out for taxes

I don't think there would be a speed change, I think there would be a lift change though. The angle of attack required to create enough lift to stop your vertical descent at 30mph is quite different at 130 than 150. I think that you could actually lengthen your swoop if you dropped the lead or water at a specific rate. I think...

The $51 fee is for a new USPA membership. I started my membership a year ago, I have already renewed online(the same day I gave my DZO the form), and that transaction has gone through on my CC, the license fee is $20 as shown Here AD: I didn't fax the form myself because I don't have a fax machine, the DZ fax machine is, well, the DZ's...so hands off for me. I was at the dropzone for the weekend, and I was excited to finally after 14 months finish my A license reqs, so wanted it faxed in instead of mailing it in.

I turned in my "A" license Application on the 18th, to my DZO. I gave my CC# and the $20 still hasn't been charged to the card. I would think after a full week they would have processed the App, not sent out the card, but at least processed the app?

Yep, I've been wanting to do a balloon jump since I started. Now at 49 jumps and a year later, I'm about this --->

Most places you will need a B license to jump from a balloon, reason being is there really isn't a specific landing zone...you will be landing out. I've heard that 5K is about the most you will get from a balloon, most are around 3K-4K which is another reason you would need a B license, if you jump at 3K, you gotta wait a while to build up speed before deployment, and with an A license, you need to deploy at 3K minimum.
