For the wingsuit folks out there it looks like Nick from EG Suits will also be attending and doing a seminar on aerodynamics while he is there and if you would like a wingsuit instructor rating he will be running a rating course and if you want a Birdman instructor rating you might be able to con Chuck into that also, but you would have to contact him. It was the other Zach (cakeboy) who downwinded it across the runway with Jenns suit. Tony ripped the wing of a V1 on a Casa exit. and the other Zach (buried) well he is just a bitch that used my V1 the whole time we were at Moab so his shit wouldn't get dirty....................but I got even with him, he just bought it from me and it is still covered in Moab dust from last year.............and I wiped my ass on the collar of the suit just for good measure. This last weekend at Spaceland we had a warm up for the Skyflock '07 We had about 15 wingsuit pilots but could only get 12 ways due to some showing up on Sat but not Sunday and some showing on Sunday but not Saturday. We did some nice flocks with some newer flyers and hopefully a few of them will take the next couple of months to get their flocking skills honed a little better so we can put together our Texas wingsuit record. Fun was had by all and I look forward to Skyfest/Skyflock '07. At Skyfest we will have wingsuit reps from Phoenix Fly, Tony Suits and Birdman We will be running first flight courses for those who want to experience true body flight -- demo suits from nearly every manufacture will be on hand and for those experienced flockers organizing will be done by Chuck Blue and myself and possibly another See Ya there More details as they are made available The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid -

I think the suit was designed to 'slow down' to all of the neweer suits on the market -- notice I didn't say keep up. PF has always been aimed at higher performance - namely higher forward speed but the trend of late seems to be slower forward and slow vertical descent. I think the suit looks really cool and will find its niche in the places of bigger flocks and those who just like to buy suits like myself. I think the problem with stepping backwards to play with everyone else is kind of like jumping the big baggy suits of the '70s it will go away and the faster forward speed suits will reimerge. I must say that SWA showed a great amount of class in honoring the loss of one of there own, the Tshirts and the bussing of employees to the service was inspiring. I really hope Dave knew how much he was liked before he left us The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

If you did not know Dave, know this -- we were his family, he would come hangout at the DZ looking for a few good jumps and the friends he had made over the years. You could not make Dave mad, he never said anything bad about anyone, he was not an egotistical person, he was truly a good person and for the big giant person he was he was able to do good 4 way with a bunch of light weight fuckers like myself. I am sorry I didn't have time to jump with him last time I saw him. I will miss Dave and miss being stuck in a 182 with his big ass. He died with his 'family' around him doing something he loved Rest in peace Dave - you are my friend and you will be missed by many ---- Texas has suffered a giant loss of not only a good skydiver but an all around great person Voodew The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

If you want smoke I think I can have it sent down with Travis Jones who I believe is driving from Texas -- but it needs to be bought and paid for -- all that is ordered so it is only making a 1 way trip white 60 second smoke $16 per can white 4 minute smoke $29 per can Sorry no more brackets I will need to know quick as I am not sure when Travis is heading out And my smoke supplies are limited The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

The reply for wingsuiting would be the track that is straight and in total control is what I would want to see out of a first flight student ------ after that you can do what you like -- if you really like the speed dive the suit or be more head low --- if you like the long flights fly much more 'flat' not really head high but not really head low The is always something new to do If you want to practice -- do a traking dives concentrating on flying straight , turning 180 smoothly whil tracking and flying back -- never bringing your arm forward at all. Practice stable flight with both hands on the BOC which would simulate how you pull with a wingsuit The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

things have changed -- now we will be there Fri, Sat and Sun We will be giving free first flight courses we have 2 Phantom demos with backfly vents, Prodigys which I heard after this last weekend have ass vents in them. Vampire V1 and Acro demos -- V2 demo if you can land on your feet every single time you land - and you give me the title to your car just in case you fuck up my suit. GS1 demos >>>>>>>>>>>And I plan on bringing a shit load of beer for us winged folks
