Actually, that is what I call her, and she calls me Chachi. You kind of freaked me out when I read that, I was like OMG how does he know her, then I was like duh. Nice to meet you to BB, I wish we could have jumped together, She has only done one tandem but she has the bug, might get her jumping this summer. But I have like the biggest smile on my face. ~Chachi

I use it at 1/250th and never have a problem. Slide is the same as negative film to make prints of. I find the bonus is you spend a little more on the film but less on processing becasue you don't print the crappy shots. Just the ones you want. Plus if you have a slide scanner, turning them into digital is possible without printing either.

If you are disappointed with the grain of 200+ you should move to slide film. I use Fuji Provia it is asa 100 and you can not tell the difference between that and Fuji Velvia which is asa 50. It will give you a little more push though. ~chachi

My tips to new camera people. -Do learn to fly -Do not rush into anything that is beyond your skill -Do buy camera people on your dz beer and pick there brains -Do not get discouraged -Do get a proper ringsight for any FS -Do expect to spend a whole lot of money before getting payed -Do have FUN! -Do be safe for yourself and others around you(do not focus on video so much you forget your own gear safety). -Do practice getting your helmet off as part of emergency procedures. ~Chachi

Well here is my 2 cents. You can look at mounts from the hawkye manufacturer would probably be the best idea. That way it is bound to fit best with a minimum of snag points. DO not attach it until you attach a camera. FLying helmets with camera mounts and no camera is not a good idea. You might look at other cameras though. Keep in mind Sony is probably the best skydiving option but a PC 101 definately on the high end. A lot of other PC's actually work very well for what you might want it for and less money. PC 5 works great. To start wearing a camera on your freefly adventures, most people suggest around 200 jumps.
