    Both out of hand - pamphlets and changing radio stations pre-sets. It's not just religious, it's just plain unwanted advertising and wasting of our resources... Also flyers for services in the open mailbox, stuff stuck in the front door. On occasion, I'll gather this stuff up and unload it in their front yards since that's where these things end up in our neighborhood. And for mailings, of course returning them in the postage paid envelopes.... ...     "average" soldier was that list - So in some categories your son is not in the first sigma or two. Neither is his dad and we are all the better for the talents of both.     Pretty clear reason for establishing a policy of 'you lose it, you buy it'. Without these types, it would be much easier to add a replacement insurance to the rental charge. That said, the DZ in the original post is asking for much more than replacement costs... ...     There is no law saying you can't have a job and go to school at the same time. It's how I paid for both school and skydiving. Full time job + full time school isn't a bad combination for college and yes you can have a social life and skydive too if you manage your time and pay attention in class. (Since you said home school, I have to think you are in high school or a trolling kid - if so, wait till you are out of the house). I'm hoping the bankruptcy advice was just kidding.     Truly one of the most juvenile threads of all time. There's nothing wrong with going fast, it also fun and a way to stretch your skills on a track on a legal road race etc there is plenty of places and clubs to do it, a public highway is not. Go find a good racing club it's legal, safer for others (what you do with yourself I don't care), and less lazy and selfish. Also a person can learn much about how to race. It's the difference between how little children vs grown ups do it. ...     Piecing the curvy-bendy shapes together takes a lot of time/effort and I doubt it's stronger than just making a pair of pants and then adding the patterns. However - that adds a layer and some weight so the tradeoff at least is simple to understand. Just thinking out loud. The first pair Kim made had all these bits sewn together and add little seam joints and was really cool. Turns out just making the patterns as application pieces on top of a regular pant pattern would have been just as nice and about ten times easier and also more sturdy of course.... have fun - I like your designs ...     thanks, on retrospection, I'm think I'm being mean. I'm sure cathy is sweet and all and part of the jumping family, but if she wants help, she has to come right out and let us know what's up. Skydivers like to help each other out, but I doubt we can do anything with those two postings even if we wanted to. ...     We will have to compare dreams next time together, I used to have similar ones all the time. Mine involved way too much parachute lines and highway overpasses and streamers that go on forever..... You're just missing jumping and upset that you didn't come out Sunday with me and Sarah...... BTW - are you packed? Of course today is gorgeaous and Sat/Sun are supposed to be lousy, but maybe Sunday's forecast will improve by then. If it is, I'm calling. ...     The twist dial always broke off. We did the pliers thing too. Also the radio had about a hundred dials. 2 worked on/off/volume and the station selector. The other 98 dials were just replacements when the other two would break. Real antennas that actually rotated (west we got stations 5, 8, and 13; east we got 4 and 9) homemade root beer? ...     Very cool - my wife makes pants and suits and weight belts, etc too. What materials are you using? What kind of thread? Are you piecing the designs together or just applying them over the top of the monocolor pants? Fat velcro (2") or not? How do they fly (all strength and use issues) Super cool though.     We are all supposed to be so generous to other countries. At least this way we get productivity in return for our investment and those countries get much need wealth. The alternative is to outlaw outsourcing, and then tax the hell out of our workers and companies, and then send the money to those countries as aid.     One time this guy said this thing to me. I wasn't impressed because the stuff wasn't as bad as that other time. But still, those people aren't nice because of, well, you know. Anyway, we crossed town to settled it, of course. Didn't worked because they were crooked. You know what I mean. I thought if we wrote it down then that would help.
