    I think you shouldn't have told her in the first place. Now your best call is to try to explain to her what skydiving is today, and try to emphasize on the security aspects of the sport. And if you can, try to bring your mom to the DZ, and have her watch the skydivers land, especially the tandems. I think she'll understand.

    Well, it's funny actually! I think GM overreacted a bit on this. Yes, the expression "La Crosse " means "to masturbate", but it's not the only way the word is used here. La crosse also means "To get ripped off" or "to swindle" or "to cheat", which is worse IMHO. "La Crosse" is also the name of a game played with a ball and a stick (named Crosse) that has a small basket at the end. This game is played like a hockey game. Yves.

    That's not fast. Well, compared to a lot of jumpers who average 115mph, yeah, that's fast, but I don't think so. 130+ on my belly is very easy...did 170mph on my belly once for the hell of it. With a good arch, I can do 158Mph on my belly. I usually fall 110-135Mph, depending on the jumpsuit I wear. Yves

    Top skin full black. Bottom skin full black. All inner ribs red. Wickedly ! Not sure what color i'd pick for the stabs though. Probably red, or just leave them plain black too. btw. I just described what my next canopy will look like. Yves.
