    You can get by quite easily in Barcelona with castellano spanish ("regular" spanish). There is a little difference from regionh to region, but it's all pretty similar to that, and in many places (like Empuriabrava) the signs are bilingual (both castellano and regional variants). Trains are pretty cheap in Spain, and there is so much variety in the big cities, you'll have a job seeing it all! I'd recommend Madrid (skydive Lillo is quite close to there), but its a fair way from Barcelona! Apatr from that theres the Dali (spelling?) museum close to Empuriabrava that is an absolute must! You can also get a train into the south of France if you fancy a bit of a change!

    Its an empty promise. There is no way the Palestinians will stop immediately, as they don't trust the Israeli government to be true to their word. This will mean that the Israelis will not concede an inch, as the violence will continue. And so it will carry on...

    When I was doing AFF I saw a video of some guys skydiving out in Russia. They showed a thermometer and it was stupidly cold (minus something ridiculous). You could nearly see icicles on the camera, and that was at ground level!!!

    Unfortunately time and money were hard to come by over the summer, but I managed to get a few days in up at hinton. It's a brilliant DZ, with really friendly people, can't recommend it enough!

    I did AFF in Spain, but the wind picked up so I didn't finish my consols. When I got back the guys at Hinton were great about it, it wasn't a problem. It was bloody cold though!

    Hi! Hinton is an awesome DZ, but over the winter it's probably best to go overseas. I did AFF in Empuriabrava, it was worth every penny!     I got 2 of my friends to do tandems. They were so fed up with me talking about skydiving all the time that they just had to give it a go! One loved it, but said never again, and one hated it and said never again...

    My little brother got one done for a drunken bet once. He's just turned 18 and he doesn't regret it one bit. Hes just finished training as a piercer, and wants to start his own business. Mum doesn't know where she went wrong, one of her kids likes to stick bits of metal in people, the other one chucks himself out of planes for fun...
