Paragliding vs. Skydiving: which to learn?

Have you tried paragliding? If you've done both then you'll be able to make a better decision. I have, and I chose skydiving. Its so much more of a life changing thing, I just couldn't help myself! -

Yeah, but 99.9999999% of them give up. Unfortunately some of them make it, or are inserted directly into the industry via the much loved "manufacturing" process. The true artists are pushed aside for something that record companies can sell quickly, and discard when they need to.

I felt the same on my first solo. Its one thing going out with an instructor, but when you're on your own.... Once you've done it though, you'll know you can handle it. Your instructors already know it, now it's time for you to find out first hand!

There are metallica action figures. No kidding, action figures. Why is there so much merchandise for bands like this? To make money. For Metallica it's not about the music anymore, it's about the money. They have helped cheapen my favourite art form. Theres nothing wrong with getting rich from making music. There is something wrong with making music so you can get rich. End of rant.
