Childrens Band, now thats funny and oh so true sometimes. Ch19 is so overloaded with radio rambos,yingyangs, asswipes and degenerates that we often refer to it as "Sesame Street". you can't drive anywhere near a truckstop/major city with hearing so much trash that you have to shutdown, really a shame. Remember that trash talking segment you hear is really a small majority with really bigmouths. I KNOW, I KNOW!!!! Get a a big base station (CB/HAM Radio) for your house and push more power than the truckers and annoy the hell out of'em with endless chatter about religion, politics and inane babble. OK, the great Chile Relleno just happens to be a "Trucker" and I can answer your question... We (truckers) like to call it "Putting a little fire in our wire". First thing we do when we get a new CB is get it "Peaked and tuned", the normal output wattage is aprox 7-9 watts, peak it and your putting out 20-30 watts which means a stronger signal and thus more range when you transmit. Then just to make sure everyone for 10-15 miles can hear us and cannot cancel out our signal with their signal if they key-up at the same time (we call it getting "walked on') we add a linear amplifier to our CB to even further boost our output, now we're talking 100- 500+ watts of output . The downside (for you and others) and technically illegal side of this is now we can "Bleed over" onto to other frequencies such as your TV, stereo, and other CB channels. Heck if I'm really close to you you can even hear it thru your speakers with your gear turned off! Thats what your hearing and why its happening, now as to how to fix it... Hmmm, perhaps a RF choke? But that wouldn't work for your house... Hmmm ponder that... We need to seek the advise of a sound tech, dang I guess I can't answer your actual question. Goodluck! I've demo'd the Lotus and I liked it alot, I played with around with a 1:2:1 WL and found it to be very versatile. Brian actually thought I should have been loading higher than that and I only had about 200 jumps at the time. Talked about the canopy one on one with Brian G., it is a semi-elliptical not fully-elliptcal canopy as is the Samauri. At the lower end of the wing loading it is a stable, fairly forgiving canopy that with good canopy control training and skills would be appropriate for a conservative low time jumper say with 50+ jumps. OK, OK... I was on the road for 4 weeks and I managed to jump in Nevada at Gravityzone 2 jumps, California at Taft 1 jump, Alabama at Pell City 4 jumps, Indiana at Greensburg 2 (day) 1 (night) jump/s and 5-6 minutes of windtunnel time also at Greensburg. Rantoul next weekend??? Dude, its only the end of June? I probably won't make Rantoul this year, Not without divine intervention. But I have been hitting new states and DZ's, I'm up to 34 states and 59 DZ's. As for boogies I hit the Skydive Greensburg (Indiana) Grand Caravan Boogie and had a real goodtime jumping and flying in the portable windtunnel they have setup there for the summer
