QuoteWhat's a PD thing?Quote The markup tag "" is often used to show one is not serious about something i.e. humorous. Some gear developes reputations which are not wholly deserved and I was poking fun. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Sabres always were notorious for hard openings just as stilletos were infamous for spinning up, hence the nickname spinetto. Its a PD thing ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Good solution if you ask me. My wife and I breed our Guppies and Bettas and are always feeding excess fry and culls (runts/undesireables) to our other fish. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

So it might make sense if a symbol/character or "Kanji" were to be used for the name of the canopy... ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

The third alphabet, kanji, was imported over the centuries from China. The pictograms are typically (much) more complex than kana (remember, "kana" refers collectively to hiragana and katakana) and, furthermore, have different readings and meanings depending on how they're combined with other kanji. They represent ideas or words rather than syllables, although of course hiragana or katakana could be used to spell out the pronunciation. It's not uncommon to see a kanji with its reading spelled out in very small kana, written just above it. Kana used in this way, to show you how to pronounce a kanji, are known as "furigana". Also, the same kanji can often be read in different ways. For example, the kanji sei can be read as sei when in "sensei" (teacher), or as u in "umareta" (I was born), or nama in "nama biiru" (draft beer). Aargh! Panic! *slap!* Calm down. It's not that hard. Just breathe deeply and you'll be fine. Follow me... ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Thats strange, I did a search using the word kanji and it came up up as a type of japanese alphabet, see www.kanjisite.com or search kanji on whatever search engine your using. Where did you come up with a katana, just curious? ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

ChileRelleno replied to andy2's topic in Safety and Training
Never said it was a "bad" idea. Now the idea of some sort of B-12 snap on a chest strap ain't a bad idea either, it would probably be easier than unthreading your chest strap in the event of unintentional water landing. That is if the end of your chest strap if folded over and tacked to prevent it inadvertently coming completely undone thru the hardware. But if those were truly "good" ideas they would probably already be common. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868 -

I remember one Memorial Day I was jumping at West Point, VA and just as we were about to exit the CASA the pilots hollered back "This is gonna hurt Y'ALL more than it is US!" . We exited into ice particles, imagine billions of little hypodermics from 16000 down to 9000 then rain the rest of the way... We actually turned a 9point 6way but our faces were red and raw for the rest of the day, like a bad razor burn. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868
