I have enough $$ for either a new Dytter or a Skytronic FX or a used Skytronic Pro. I can't swing the extra hundred for a Pro-Track. I can live without the data provided by a jump computer, what I really want is just a backup warning for freeflying-I currently use only my wrist mount and although I'm always very conscious of my altitude I figure the extra precaution is a good idea. What would you pick? Thanks. (Just as a side note, at the present time I only sit fly so I'm not out going 200 mph head down with only a wrist mount alti.) A diet coke. I left before lunch because the wind picked up, but not before I got in one jump and realized that sitting really is way easier in a FF suit, and clouds HURT when there's rain in them, even if you're in the hole. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

People think it's so cute when they see a cat playing, until you realize that EVERY game you play with a cat has the same theme: "Kill the Little Moving Thing" I think the theme is actually "Kill the little moving thing as slowly and sadistically as possible" Mine are so bad with those little mousies, they maim and torture and THEN kill and bring it inside for me to see. Did I mention that once I figured out I was nervous about flying my new canopy for no reason at all my landings improved? I'm back to landing in a standing position with the exception of a nice, soft PLF on a downwind landing (I have this fear of turning low). I will be walking and ready to corrupt Viking in Eloy. Hmmm, I'm a low timer but sounds like a load of crap to me. Besides, if your DZ is anything like mine, you invest at least $25 worth of time getting ahold of that S&TA or instructor and keeping him on the ground long enough to sign. ALso between graduating AFF and accumulating the 20 jumps required for the license (is it 25 now?) you've probably had to contribute a few cases of beer as well....Go somewhere else.
