I have the same setup as you, and don't got velcro on my new PC. Never had any trouble with it. Very little bridle exposed anyway. As long as you're not freeflying, but stay on your belly it should be safe enough. If you're freeflying you REALLY should consider getting another rigg. I know a lot of people is freeflying with Vector II, but that doesn't make it safe. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Try Opera. It's the best browser EVER! Stop all pop ups, or get just the one you request, just with a touch of a button. And when you start to use mouse gestures, you'll browse dz.com twice as fast. And from version 7 the mail clients finally rocks too

This is why we have free email services like Hotmail. I've got a hotmail address I use every time I need to supply an email address on the net. It recieves between 50-150 spammails a day. I take a quick glance to look for personal mails, but don't care if I miss one before I delete all mails in my inbox. If I need to recover a password, It's still pretty easy to find. katamann@hotmail.com There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Open high on the first jumps. Learn the stall point and practise flares. Be careful about old f-111 canopies. If the fabric is worn out, you will crash unless you do a frontriser high speed approach (and you don't want to try that with 36 jumps on a new canopy.) I'm the same weight as you, and I got a Hornet 170 at 75 jumps. It's forgiving enough, but small fuckups (like not flaring) requires that you can take a tumble without getting hurt. Try some different canopies and sizes. If you do five demo jumps on each canopy at a sabre2, saber1, hornet and spectre at sizes 210, 190 and 170 you will have 100 jumps and maybe beginning to be ready to buy your own gear. What you should be aware of? Faster means it can hurt more. Remember Newton.... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I've been jumping a Hornet 170 for my last 150 jumps or so. I love it. I load it at about 1.1-1.2. Don't understand why it gets compared with the original sabre. In my opinion it's a completely different canopy. From people trying my canopy I get responses that it's somewhere between the sabre2 and the electra. It opens great most of the time. Had a slammer on one or two of the first jumps, but not since. Don't know if thats due to my packing getting better, or if it opens better when the lines have gone slightly out of trim after 150 jumps. (Actually it feels like they go into trim, or maybe I just have gotten better at canopy control

Hi Is it possible to syndicate the ads at dz.com in a way so that the clicks and views get credited dz.com? This could be a way to support dropzone.com, allthough cash probably is good too. I thought of doing this from my site snart.com, but I need an image url and click url in phpNuke. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

OK, went to the doctor yesterday. He said all my symptoms were identical to car crash victims, but that I should probably recover fully. He insisted on taking X-rays, and told me to seek help again immediatly if it got worse. Getting the x-ray on thursday. My neck hasn't gotten significantly better, but not worse either. Guessing it will take a couple of weeks for it to get back to normal There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

First jump I made with my 4-way team on saturday I hit the side of the plane (AN-28 tailgate) with my head. We did a sidebody exit, and I am point exiting sideways inside the plane. As my head hit the side of the plane, my neck was bent backwards almost 90 degrees. I heard the sounds of stuff in my neck crunching. I got pretty dizzy, and were afraid of blacking out. I thought about pulling straight away in fear of losing consciouness, but decided I were OK enough to complete the dive. I were pretty dizzy when I landed, and had some troubble breathing for a while. Did one more jump at the end of the day, and did four competition jumps today. My neck is still pretty sore, hurting a bit. Wonder if it might be a good idea to get an X-ray? I'll post the video when I get it from the cameraguy. lessons to be learned: - Hard shell helmets is a good thing. I'm pretty sure I would have got knocked unconcious with a frap hat. - I didn't need my cypres this jump either, but it was a close call. - Hitting the plane with the head is dangerous. I'm going to be more careful with exits like this in the future. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I got my pro-dytter at 5000, 3000, 1500 First warning is before break-off at 4000-4500. Second waring I almost allways hear afte waving off, as I'm about to reach for my hackey. Never heard the third warning while in the air. I keep altitude awareness because I don't trust it at all. It has happend I haven't heard it, tracking away wondering if I'll hear the second alarm. On instinct I allways look at my alti between 6.5k-6k. Don't know why, I just do.... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Take responsibility. Pretend that you might want to buy something, so that you can waste their time. If everybody did this, telemarkteting would be unprofitable. One person can call 100 person an hour if they just hang up. If everybody pretends to be interessed the telemarketer can only call 2 of 3. There are only 10 types of people in the world. You can do everything right in this sport and still die That fact are probably never going to change. The skydiving fatalities pages will probably be of interest for you. That said, skydiving as all extreme sports is all about risk management. It can be done safe and it can be done unsafe. There are only 10 types of people in the world.
