    Goth fashion For me? Probably not. Not an attention seeker. Interesting? Pretty darned creative ideas. Even if the end result is kinda odd, it is interesting. My fav pic is the one where the Goth family is walking down the street, all dressed in black, eating ice cream. Norman Rockwell might never have painted it, but it is oddly normal. "I'd like to see something in a size 5 and black." "The style and fit are nice, but do you have anything blacker?"

    x. Multiply by 3. -> 3x Add 3. -> 3x +3 Multiply by 3 again. -> 9x + 9 -> 9(x+1) So, no matter what you choose, it is multiplied by 9. There is a basic mathematical test to see if a number is divisible by 9. You add the digits. The sum will be divisible by 9. 27, 81, 45... So, if you made your number 999, you'd end up with 9000.

    The original charge in the article is that Obama has socialist polices. So, instead of discussing Obamas policies, the Dems are discussing NG's sex life? Kind of ruins the point of discussing if all they want to do is avoid discussing his policies. The policies must be bad. Perhaps NG was right.

    A few years ago, I noticed the pattern in black unemployment. Black men were still working in physical labor jobs while the black women were moving into the (pardon the term) white-collar jobs. A human resources person told me that it was because of the equal rights quotas. If a black man was hired for a job, it checked one box. If a black woman was hired, then they had hired two minorities. So, the quota system was keeping black men out of professional positions in the US.

    Patrick, fill in your profile a little (trust), discuss, and learn something. People here get trolled all the time. They are just going to f- with you. "...the new adrenaline-junky, reality show" is not new. Endless Summer 1968 Experienced skydivers all know people in the film industry. Building a few contacts might help you. You could ask a few questions and build some better idea. Better ideas have a better chance. Good luck.

    If there was a possibility of debating his assessment of Obama, you have successfully avoided it. I thought the question was whether Obama had secular, socialist policies. The Dems have never regarded moral standing as a necessity to offer an opinion. Why is it necessary for NG ? Let's face it, Hillary became a laughing stock over her "lie of the week" campaign. Even the Dems on this forum were embarrassed by her announcements. I can understand your willingness to attack the accuser instead of the content. Obama is adding the biggest social programs to the govt ever. "Obama - socialism for the rich, democracy for the poor"

    I thought about that, but it would be disheartening to get rejected by both sexes. The "men who stare at goats" thread was not what I expected it to be. After all, there is an internet dating site for every interest. Does that guy in prison still write you ?

    Nicholson played crazy (Shining) and grumpy (As good as it gets), tough (the Marine Col). Believable. I think he could be grumpy and crazy in his real life. Clooney has tried tough, but he comes across like a department store manager playing Bad Cop. He doesn't do it any better than everyday people if they tried. As Mr. Charming... seems like a grown up In-Sync member. Maybe that is just a lack of interest in watching a movie with that role.

    "Christophobia" I read the article. It talks about rejection, but not fear. Nobody is afraid of a myth. Deities and invisible beings are myths. All religions are the same and worse than valueless. They create an emotional crutch that ties their believers to them. No one is afraid of religions (except perhaps for the actions of their living devotees). People are tired of them though. There is a large difference between being afraid and just being tired of the stupidity. There is no linkage between the decline of religion and fear. Religion is fading because it is a farce.

    I grew up in Fl. Didn't have a/c until I was 16. The elem school didn't, but the buildings were wood-frame and elevated with a 3 ft air flow underneath. The high school didn't have a/c until after I left. The buildings were concrete block and close. No airflow... and built on a filled-in pond. The halls flooded after a good rain. (heat with a bonus of humidity from the standing water) Enjoy the cool weather. In August, you won't be able to sleep without a/c or a good fan. You'll walk out at 8am and it will already be 90 deg. Sweating in 5 minutes. (I joined the Y so I can swim after work)
