Fair enough your call, but be careful who you do listen too theres a lot of bogus nonsense out there. If its science you're after then read this before you make your mind up. http://www.bmj.com/content/342/bmj.c5347 Good luck. Earlier in this thread I gave you my opinion as both a Father and a clinician. They say a picture says a thousand words so how much more so a film. This is very short and puts it in very simple terms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhk7-5eBCrs When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. The primary cause of death from handgun wound is blood loss. Major bleeding happens through there being a large wound channel. I don't see that this makes any larger a wound channel. It makes several small wound channels, so once again, it all comes down to shot placement. I'm with you. Gimmick marketing. Likely overpriced, under-reliable, and certainly unproven. +1 When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. But of course. Unless they're Irish, the Brits free criminals after a couple weeks and a promise to behave. You need to read more mate, all those Irish prisoners are politicians now living the high life and being paid by the UK Tax payers. I think you're confusing Irish with Muslim, of douse there are some Muslim Irish as well, thats where it gets complicated as they're on day release with a tag. The point, Oh Point-Misser, is that once Spain divested itself of its imperial occupation of the Falk...er, Malvinas, the logical nation to claim them (to the extent they were claimable in the first place) was the nation closest in proximity to them, and that was Argentina. And Argentina did claim them, immediately upon becoming an independent nation, and more than a decade before the imperialist English running dogs traveled 8,000 miles to infest them with a party of squatters. With bad teeth. Geologically the Falklands are Chilean, not Argentinean. And the Chileans acknowledge that the Falklands are British, to the point of providing assistance to the Brits in the 1981 war. Besides, the Argentines are just squatters on land stolen from the indigenous peoples. They should put their own house in order before claiming territory that had NO indigenous people and where Argentina never had a settlement. Free Tibet. How very Richard Gere of you , anyway Its not free it cost China an arms and a leg! Gibralter? Malvinas, anyone? Northern Ireland? gee, this is fun. no wait, it's dumb. or is that "daft"? whatever In the last referendum out of the entire population only one person in the Falkands wanted to become part of Argentina everyone else voted to be British. As for Northern Ireland they also have a democratic process where if the majority voted to leave the UK (Much like Scotland will be voting on later this year) they can do so. So both British. Gibralter? Nice try but clearly you've never been there, the people of Gibralter are more British than Steven Fry drinking tea in the Ritz before heading off to a Pall Mall club. They are so fiercely British that God help anyone who suggests otherwise in their presence. Its my impression (and I could be wrong on this) that you can say some things in the USA which would see you potentially arrested in the UK. Certain hate crimes come to mind. There again you're more likely to see boobies on UK TV! When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Hi Ron Wading in late here but thinking about it I'd say we're about as free as the average American on most things, more than the average American on some things and not so much on others. I can purchase a .50 Cal rifle legally in the UK along with a .22 Semi auto rifle regardless of magazine capacity, folding stock etc which the average American can't do in some states, I can legally own a Drugunov or a Saiga with a 50 round mag. However the average UK citizen is not able to purchase legally a AR15 in .223. Other than that I don't really think theres anything that an American is free to do which a Brit isn't. Firstly congratulations. As a new parent myself (Its been almost 15 months now) and also as a clinician I have found my stance on the whole vaccination issue has adjusted slightly since becoming a Father. Secondly there is no link between Autism and the single MMR vaccination, the scare stemmed from a fraudulent paper by Andrew Wakefiled http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Wakefield publish in the Lancet. The paper and Wakefield himself have been thoroughly discredited and for good reason. Prior to becoming a parent and even after I was totally convinced that the only road was the one to inoculations. So my wife and I got our daughter vaccinated. It was not a pleasant experience holding her as she got stuck with the needles. Then she was sick for three weeks with D&V and had a nasty reaction to the viral load which resulted in a sever skin reaction and rash which took months to clear. Having said that she is now fine and is protected against life changing and limiting disease. My Sister did not get my Niece vaccinated and prior to my experience I was highly judgemental of her decision which I thought insane. Now I am more understanding of her decision and there were times in the weeks post inoculation where I thought maybe she was onto something (there is nothing worse than that feeling of helplessness when your child is very ill). The ideal situation would be herd immunisation which meant that you didn't have to jab you child. However that is not a responsible approach in the real world. Thanks to the irresponsible and criminal actions of Andy Wakefield we have seen herd immunity collapse in the UK in a number of areas and a return to deaths of children unprotected from measles. Although it was a difficult period, in hindsight I would still chose to vaccinate any further children of mine. Hope this helps and good luck with parenthood.
