    MRI?

If the bone in your wrists that was broken was the Scaphoid it is not uncommon for the X ray to be a false negative. This is because the bone is very small and if broken it can often not be displaced. If a repeat x ray is taken ten days later the fracture can usualy be seen due to the healing process. Scaphoid fractures are important to diagnosed and keep an eye on due to the danger of Avascular necrosis of the distal fragment. MRI will show these kind of fractures and also discreate fractures of the neck of femur. MRI isn't generaly good at looking at bone though as the signal from bone is not so good. CT is better for looking at bone but involves ionising radiation which MRI doesn't. 5. I was brought up in a Muslim family but my parents taught me about Islam and Christianity and told me i should make my own mind up when I got older, at school I learnt about Judaism. I found it left me questioning all religions and I found merit and commonality in them all. I eventualy came to my own conclusions and am glad that I have a good knowledge of all the main religions. 7. Islam and Judaism do not evangelise where as it is a duty for Christians. (I just know I'm going to see that as a quote!) But I think it is divisive to ask such a question all religions have extreamists. I belive that it is more important to find the commonality of belife rather than focus on the differences that divide us. I voted for Atheism (even though its not strictly a religion) because a man who belives that there is noting greater than himself when linked with the rapid advance of technology is a dangerous creature indeed. For all his failings (which we all have) I am glad that George W Bush is a Christian (as is Tony Blair) I may not agree with all their political belifes but I have come to the conclusion that they really doo belive that they are trying their best to do the right thing. It doesn't make them less dangerous than an atheist but I'm glad that they belive that they will oneday be held to account for their actions to a greater authority. GWB in particular I have noticed change over the years and I belive he really has a desire to do whats right. But I still don't agree with a lot of what e does. 8. OK, so first thing first. "THIS IS NOT AMERICA BASHING!" Right, I have been hearing more of the rise of the 'Christian right' in the US. More and more stories about how Christian belife is impinging upon US law. The whole recent right to die thing and the Catholic hospital post on SC right now are just two examples. So I'm wondering what the Americans think about what is happening in the US. IS this really happening or is it all media hype? is there a Christian revival happening or not and how do you feel about it, either way? 10. Unfortunatly this happens all the tie in the UK. I think it's because people generaly only know about firearms what they see on tv and films. Also in the UK we have a violent youth culture that is moronic. Unfortunatly stupid kids in South london try to emulate gangs in South Central LA. Also I think people don't realise just how powerful air weapons are. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 15. Thank for the compliment Actualy it seem that alot of people took it the same way as you. Maybe its a cultural thing but I didn't post this as a does America suck post. I posted this about three in the morning with tongue firmly in cheek. Its just that I have heard US posters express the opinion many times that the rest of the world is jelous of the US and gave the impression that they think everyone outside of the US wants to live in the US. So I wondered if that was true. Seems it's not! I like spending time (and dollars) in the US and have been quite a few times, but like others I couldn't live there. That doesn't mean I think it sucks, just that it's not for me. As for the UK, Yep, living here Sucks! 22. I disagree, I think its a good thing that Muslims and Jews are tought about Christianity. I was brought up as a Muslim but I also learnt about Christianity and Judaism. I am glad I did, it ment that as I got older I had a wider base of theologies to draw my own conclusions from. I know some Muslims that belive that Christians belive in three Gods because of the Trinity! As for Darwinisim, it is after all just a theory. True it is a complling one but a theory none the less. I see nothing wrong with teaching both Creationism AND Evolution. Some people have knoked me recently saying that I always bash the USA I don't I bash pollicies. But this is something that I belive the US has got right. Give people all the information and let them make their own minds up. I don't belive that freedom of choice is a principle that runs against the belifes that America was founded on, in fact quite the reverse. 23. Yea I started this kind of tongue in cheek and then was going to change the options but it wouldn't allow me to. 25. If you did read my posts then you would know that I have American family and friends, that I admire the way the US responded to the Tsunami and my respect for the genral goodness of the American people that I have met in America on my many enjoyable vists to the country. Clearly you have not. You would also know of my Scotish heritage, I don't know what kind of a Scotsman you are. A US Scotsman three generations back I suspect?
