Maybe I've missed an argument on another thread but this looks alot like a cheap shot at Rhino to me. I belive Rhino is a man of honour who would not abuse a woman even if she was burning her nations flag (A reprehensable act as far as I am concerned) I don't think he'd be over quick to act though if another woman came up and bitch slapped you though. I think if you burn your nations flag then you don't deserve to be awarded the protection of your nation, I don't always agree with Americas overseas policies but would never stoop so low as to burn the US flag. Under that flag men and women died to ensure you (and I, and the rest of Europe) have the rights we do today. Even (at the moment) the right to burn the flag. That you should choose to do so shits on their memory. Shame on you or any American that burns the Stars and stripes. I looked again and you know what? You are right! Its not just GW Bush that would have made this decision all of the corupt clowns in Americas politcal world (Its no better over here either) would have done the same! So if the intel was good where is the WMDs If the intel was bad it wasn't the clowns at the top that screwed up it was the clowns in the CIA et al. ***And typically, the new advances in medicine, treatments, and surgical technique usually come from countries that don't have, or have a very limited version of, socialized medicine. The USA continues to invent a disproportionately-large amount of medical advances.*** Oh REALLY? The CT Scanner was invented by a chap called Hounsfield here in England. MRI was invented by British citizen Sir Peter Mansfield— awarded the Nobel Prize for developing the MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine. Ultrasound.... 1957 Tom Brown and Ian Donald invented and constructed the prototype of the first Compound B-mode contact scanner. The transducer operated at 2.5MHz.The prototype was improved to become the Diasonograph, manufactured by Smith Industrials of England Actually for a country our size we produce a rediculous amount of inventions and medical advancements. Oh, and we have the worlds best socialsed medical service, free at the point of delivery. And then there is DNA discovered by Watson and Crick here in England. Be careful to read the fine print first Rhino. In South Africa they had a law like this for many years, but how is descration of the flag defined? In South Africa it ment that you couldn't even use it in/as clothing. Can you imagine? What would middle aged men on Harleys use to protect their heads in the event of a crash if they couldn't have a US flag for a bandana?? The country would be walking around half naked!!! So what this site is saying is that Bush wasn't wrong it was just his incompetent intelligence agencies and piss poor Millitary intelligence that guided him into an unjustifiable illegal act of aggression. ***Ahh yes, home sweet home....but seriously, don't let this turn you off of South Africa, it's a beautiful country with beautiful people. *** And they taste fantastic! Yep, first I decide that we should have our legal firearms back, now I am agreeing with GWB! America has got it right as far as its Policy on Africa goes. The UK wanted to suspend the African debt for ten yars then make them pay back 70%. GWB said no we'll cancel the lot and then they have to stand on their own feet and the problem is not the money but the coruption that is as pandemic in africa as AIDs (My words not his). These Live8 concerts are misguided and won't solve Africas problems. Only Africa can solve Africas problems and that isn't going to happen any time soon. When will we learn that perternalism in Africa is an unwanted fools errend? Now I'm off to get a tatoo of an Elephant..... Sure but I bet it wasn't his first drink, if you know what I mean We had an ethanolic that was brought into A&E (ER) beause he had been drinking ethanol to the point that it was coming out of his pores, somone tossed a cig butt on him as he slept in a doorway and he went up like a candle. He didn't make it. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Not suprising as they were the enemy. The Germans had concentration camps in WWI and WWII, just as us English had concentration camps for women and children in which we killed 26,000 during the Boer war. American soldiers commited attrocities and massacred civillians during the Vietnam war.Not to mention the firebombing of the civilian targets of Dresden, Hambourg and other cities. Its easy to point out the splinter in your brothers eye and ignore the plank in your own. Were the young fliers who we now owe our freeedom to any less admirable because of the actions of bomber command? An interesting and thought out view. But this bit ***When you get to the 'intimate, eye to eye' level, a suicide kamikaze or suicide bomber is choosing to use his life to kill - not save life. If his motive is self perceived as honorable (it can be and still be a wrong choice), then it's based on delusion. *** Could be about any frontline soldier sailor or Airmen of any force in the world. When we sign on that dotted line we are choosing to use our life to train to and if need be to kill. *** And when I compare that to what the U.S. did nuking Japan, I feel like a great American, who can see eye to eye with other Americans. *** Thats great Steel because this European hasn't the first idea what you mean. Actualy Steel I wasn't about to start banging on about Iraq but as its been brought up... Erroll what if a suicide bomber in Iraq is clothed in a recognisable 'uniform' and attacks a millitary target? Is there a big diference? On the program I was watching they also showed Japanese Army suicide bombers that belived strongly in the Bushido cult and did exactly what the suicide bombers in Iraq did to American troops in the same way. *Climbing into flame proof coverall* And before anyone says I do, I don't support the suicide bombers but I do think it takes courage to do what they do. I was watching a documentary about Kamakazi pilots and the cult of Bushido yesterday and wondered what you all thought about these men and what they did. Personaly I think they were brave men doing all they could to defend their homeland and their way of life.
