He who laughs last... So far only three people have placed items into the room, God knows what else you might have thrown in there with you. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  8. Having reminded myslef of the story I found this... 'To deal with this problem, the distribution centers have a heavy police presence, and they deal with the rioting crowds in a very heavy-handed way using 'scoops' — special vehicles that scoop up people from the crowd and dump them into containers at the back.' Kind of clears up how Scoop got his name! When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  11. I vote for prison ships or penal rigs out in the North Sea for the worst offenders. How would you solve the problem? http://uk.news.yahoo.com/30092006/344/uk-prisons-326-full-capacity.html Obviously social reform is also needed but for the short term solution penal hulks and rigs. ROOM 101

Pies have been vetoed by Andy and so its now upto the next person to post to decide if that decision is ratified and pies are spared or if they go into room 101 (This is just a reminder of the rule so I'm not counted as that poster) When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. ROOM 101

OK, so this is how it works. Room 101 is a room into which once something goes it is never seen again. You have three items which you can put into Room 101. Political figures are exempt from nomination, as are guns terrorists and anything else that belongs in SC. Give a wee reason why you want your items to go into Room 101. Now with out futher adeiu here are my three items. 1: Caravans, whats the point of them? they just clutter the roads up and cause caos on bank holidays. 2: Kevin Costner, do I really need to explain further? 3: Big brother, the tv show. Its not nice to mock the afflicted. Over to you... *The final rule if you disagree you can veto the person above you on an item if you can give a good reason why not, vetos are decided by the next poster. 24. To be honest, in the UK we never really hear about it. Mexico has a good rep for tourists over here pretty much. In fact the only time we ever really hear about Mexico is if there has been a disaster or if the US has done something bizzare or absurd to secure the border.
