One of the simplest is to get the public healthier. I say ban fat people and ramp up the taxes on Fags (Opps..Ciggrettes) and Booze. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Clearly you are only seeing what you want to see. I know that my Avatar might be a little vague but actually I am a Brit, as is Scoop. Pro gun? As much as I'm pro teapot, I mean I like tea; just like I like shooting. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. My point wasn't how many children died in comparison but that a deranged person wishing to carry out such attack will do so regardless of a gun ban or the ability of being able to obtain one (One not having anything to do with the other) When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. It's a common-sense analysis and opinion. That it disagrees with the shrillness of the mainstream media should be cause for insightfulness, not dismissal. mh . Ok, fairplay. I will re read it and give you my objective opinion as soon as I'm able. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. How many inoccent lives would have to be lost through people going on a rampage or kids having accidents with guns for your answer to change? How many innocent lives have to be lost to auto accidents before you advocate getting rid of cars? Do you have the same outrage for drownings? Accidental poisonings? Falls? If not, you are blaming a TOOL and not the *user* of the tool. can you explain how you can go on the rampage in a school with a gun, shooting children, if you don't have a gun ? Simple, you get a knife or a machette and panga the little dears. If you remember not long after the handgun ban in the UK some nutcase did do just that. He got a machette and went on a little limb clipping exercise. I can't remember how many kids he killed but it wasn't pretty. Simple fact is that if a psycho wants to paint the town red with kiddy claret then he'll do it gun or no gun. One could argue that those kids would be safer if the public were allowed to carry like in the US. At least then someone could have shot the mentalist before he got knackered from his chopping spree! Its detering me and many others from visiting. Please explain how requiring a passport from Canadians to enter our country treating them like criminals? If I come to your country, do I have to show my passport to enter? Don't answer that. I already know the answer. Not talking about the passport, I was refering to being fingerprinted and photographed and having your records placed on the FBI computer... and no we won't do that if you come to the UK. Not so, so long as you fill out the correct paperwork and declare to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency's Receiver of Wrecks your salvage then you have a good chance of keeping the gear. If the owner wants it back then they have to pay you for it, depending on the amount of risk involved in its recovery depends on what they pay. For big companies that have insurance like BMW it is easier for them just to write it off and let you keep it. As far as i'm concerned this is just the Devon people carring on a long tradition of their cultural heritage. Good luck to them, wish I had been ale to be there to get a free BMW bike too!
