  7. Its not a You tube movie its a documentry that someone put onto you tube, theres a big difference. Its funny, when it comes to this subject its like guns or God. People who belive that its all down to man are as narrow minded as atheists or the Anti Gun lobby. Better to cling to false flawed and biased research than to even entertain the possibility that they could be wrong. The pity of it is that they are often otherwise intelligent people. 13. has it ever occured to you that maybe they don't want to live like you? sigh.. so lets do it,, but i don't want to hear about how "we" ( im refering to America or some other allie of America should run in there to set them straight as to not kill or hurt some girl, just because she shook or hugged some guy in a polite way... if you think we ought to not do anything for them,, then bottom line, we can't play both sides of the fence, It may have escaped your attention but the Pakistani government was not the ones who condemned the woman it was some fringe millitant group based at the Lal Mosque. In Pakistan. The Pakistani government has been fighting against Islamic extremists for years. The president of the country has had at least three serious attempts on his life because of it. 14. How many Muslims are there in the world? 1.200 billion, CAIR (Council on American-Islamic relations) At a level of 1.2 billion, they represent about 22% of the world's population. They are the second largest religion in the world. Only Christianity is larger, with 33% of the world's inhabitants. Islam is growing about 2.9% per year. This is faster than the total world population which increases about 2.3% annually. It is thus attracting a progressively larger percentage of the world's population. So as you can see Muslims are in the world already and with so many if they were genuinly as you belive them to be we wouldn't just be talking about small regional wars but a blood bath in every major city and town in the world. Before you condemn 1.2 Billion people maybe you should look beyond the sensationalist headlines and discover what these people actually do belive in. If all of Islam was a Wahibi death cult then they'd never have this many followers or converts. 15. As you mentioned some governments use the extremist agenda as a rally point. The same happens all over the world. Unpopular govenments use scapgoats and divert the blame for the peoples ills away from themselves. that is why such governments behave in such a manner. Islam has only been around for the last 1500 years and the extremists have only really gained political foot holds in the last fifty or so years. Since the Arabs were lied to and betrayed by the British and French and the US got involved with total support of the state of Israel and Russia promoted Maxism to further the world revolution. Modern Islamic extremists have more in common with Maxist revolutionaries than old Islamic belifes. 18. When i see tens of thousands of muslim nutz demostrating from Palestine to Iran, to the horn of Africa, Afganistan, Checneya to London and Etc,Etc,Etc, and im talking tens of thousands in each of just the countrys i listed, who knows how many more? that i didn't list.. that view that killing is the way to peace???? Im sorry, that you see it in a different light, cause i see it for what its worth... and you have a right to be sympathetic to them if you desire,, for me,, i have no use for them,, they are nothing buy a disease, a fatal one at that. yes,, more hugs, more hugs,, that will cure the world...hahahah OK, lets look at your argument. To start with I'm guessing that you pick up most of the information with which you formulate your views from the media. Peaceful citizens don't make the news the noisy and violent ones do. Lets look at the countries you mentioned. Palestine: The fighting that goes on there is a political issue due to people being dispossed of their land and being treated below normal standards. It is not a Islamic issue. (Note several Muslim counties recognise and have made peace deals with Israel) Iran: With an aggressive superpower next door and surrounding their country and battlefleets off their coast its hardly suprising that the Iranians don't have warm fuzzys towards the USA who invaded its neighbour illegally. Also note that Iran is not a Suuni country but a Shiiti one. Again the issues in Iran are political ones not Islamic ones. The horn of Africa: Again the issues in this region are of a political nature not a religious one. Checneya: A strugle for nationalist independence, attacked by Russia who has committed unimaginable hooror upon the citizens and the Muslims in particular, at its essence this is a political issue which dates back generations to before Stalin. To use these to justify your thinking would be akin to naming all the African countries who are at war and blaming it on the colour of their skin as its one thing they have in common. 20. Before you swallow the Attenbourgh vid watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5ZU2pVfbQI Also the subsequent parts, its a scientific exploration of the facts. I used to belive the human CO2 tripe before I saw this. Now I simply don't belive that global warming is caused by CO2. The evidence simply isn't there. 21. You're wrong. As I pointed out in my previous post the majority of Muslim countries are not belivers of Wahibi doctrine. Wendy is right to a point, in as much as they belive in an extreme version of the religion. Unfortunatly they have massive influence in one country, Saudi Arabia. If you were correct in your reasoning then the 'Clerics' of the Red Mosque wouldn't have to set up their own 'court' as the Pakistan government judicary would already be sufficent in their minds. 22. Thats not Muslim culture John, thats modern Saudi culture. Twisted and perverted Wahibist death cult thinking. I've just spent the last few weeks in a muslim country. The women walked around often without anything on their heads, went out with their friends in groups to bars and coffee shops and cinemas and skating rinks. In short it was a pretty normal scene. Thats a normal Muslim country, unfortuatly the influence that the Saudi's are having in the world is like a poison. Having lived in Pakistan I can tell you it never used to be like this and it worries me to see this perversion of Islam gaining strength. These guys need to be arrested and put on trial for treason.
