Are we talking about the Iwo Jima picture still or the Muhamed cartoons? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I agree John. Hopefully they will get fed up of wasting the time of the judicial system. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

So if you were walking your child in a Dublin park and they ran off and got blown to pieces by a bomb that the CIRA had made for a Dublin crime gang just how would you explain that as anything other than a criminal act? Or walking past some scumbag drug dealers car when a device went off, not a criminal gang? Do me a favour. http://www.independent.ie/breaking-news/national-news/controlled-explosion-of-viable-device-in-dublin-park-1296427.html http://www.independent.ie/national-news/pipe-bomb-attack-at-house-blamed-on-feud-680745.html This has NOTHING to do with Northern Irish politics and everything to do with making money out of the misery of people in IRELAND. Funny that but the article was written by a IRISH man and published in a IRISH newspaper, the arrests were made by IRISH Gardai (Police) and they clearly thought the men arrested were criminal scum seeing as they tassered one of them (Only the second time in IRISH history that the Garda have used tassers.) Whats the big deal? Like another poster in this thread pointed out the picture was staged and made famous as part of a campaign to recruit more Americans to die for the cause. 7000 US Marines died on Iwo Jima thats a seperate issue, respect to them but as for this picture its just that a picture. I couldn't agree more, people can't have it both ways. Either there is some things that shouldn't be published or everything within the law is fair game. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

http://www.independent.ie/national-news/two-win-appeal-for-a-military-gun-licence-1370251.html We could do with some judges like that in the UK. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

http://www.independent.ie/national-news/pipebomb-factory-in--cira-link-smashed-by-gardai-1370203.html Is this part of the 'GWOT''? Good to see these scum for what they really are, nothing but a organised crime gang. Its time we had an Irish thread on this site, enough with the Spanish forum and the Stammish forum (What the hell is Stammish anyway, sounds like a speech impediment) so to kick it off I'd just like to say....Bye bye Bertie, hello Biffo! Neither do I, but your question wasn't do you support the government right or wrong, if it was I'd say no. How do you define 'country' Shrops? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I voted yes. Why? Because to do otherwise would make me a hypocrite. We were wrong to invade Iraq, I marched against it along with over two million others. Yet when we invaded did I support the insurgency? No. Even though if I were an Iraqi I would most likely have joined the resistance. Instead I support our troops in an illegal war, why? Because I'm British and so are they. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

on refelection I'd even go so far as to say it is a good thing that the BNP got a seat. The reason behind my thinking is that A) with one seat they can do no real harm and it keeps them involved in the political process which is a lot better than giving up and just turning to the wholescale violence of the far right of the 70/80s B) Hopefully it will be a wake up call for the Conservatives who currently occupy the midle ground whilst appearing leftist and wishy washy leaving a political gap on the right in which the BNP can only hope to gain from. The inverse could be said of the New Labour party and the far left socialists and communists. C) Just maybe mainstream polititcians can positivly influence those who have become involved with the BNP and get them to start change of their party from within. (i know not all that likely but you never know) D) Its a wake up call for those in our countries who think that racisim is a thing of the past. 2007 Country Reports on Terrorism - Are 'We' Winning the GWOT?

Not in the states but outside there are many airlines that still give you a metal steaknife to eat your on board meal with. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -

They've come round to putting a Irish person in their litrature and are making out that they care about the Irish now Actually it was hard to tell between the BNP's manifesto and the Christian alliance who seemed morer preocupied about stopping a Mosque being built than running London. Interesting times, to early to tell yet. Boris is a real charicter but that doesn't mean that he'll be any good, only time will tell. At the moment he is popular. Ken had been in the job a long time. I didn't always agree with him but I think he didn't do a bad job, I'm just glad Brian Padock didn't get in. As for Obama, I guess you are paraphrasing A Marxist??? Are you sure Max? So Boris won the race to be London's new Mayor and red Ken is out tending his newts once more. I thought it was interesting that Boris Johnson is from a Muslim family of Turkish origin and that his grandfather knew the Quran my memory. No doubt when Obama wins the Presidency they will find lots of mutual ground on which to build a interesting relationship. Good luck to them both. I agree, its just a shame that it has never happened. Yugoslavia, Rwanda, the world, including Israel sat by and watched in the full knoweledge of not only what was about to happen but while it happened. "Never again"? That is nothing but a sick joke. I would if it was a isolated event and one person but its not. The persecution of Christians in Israel is well documented. Google it if you don't already know. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
