9 African Americans shot in a church in Charleston SC
Skyrad replied to Amazon's topic in Speakers Corner
When I heard he was called 'Dylann Roof' I thought what a weird name, but when I found out that he was actually called 'Dylann Storm Roof' I understood why he grew up hating society. What a fuckin stupid name. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -

If you can choose your sex, why not choose your race?

Hahahaha...I had the same thought, she's not a fake simply Trans-racial. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca -
With stars collapsing, black holes eating up everything near by, volcanos erupting, earthquakes, Tsunami, wars, economic collapse, prayers coming in billions at a second... Do you REALLY think God is worried about who you love or where you stick your willy? Its not justice its retribution and personally I don't have a problem with that. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

http://news.sky.com/story/1484934/boston-marathon-bomber-sentenced-to-death So he's going to get the lethal injection, personally I can't find any sympathy for him. I just wonder if he'll die of old age first, the amount of time it take to carry out the sentence in the USA is rather long. Anyone here think he should have got life instead? 2 Gunmen killed outside Muhammad cartoon drawing contest event
Skyrad replied to Driver1's topic in Speakers Corner
+1 Sick of people being offensive to other people just because they can, society seems to have lost the value placed upon good manners and civilised behaviour and is all the poorer for it. Pfft... the organizers of the event knew what they were doing. They even paid thousands of dollars for extra security. Well guess what? Two would-be Jihadists showed up hell-bent on exacting revenge with AR-15's. Too bad they didn't take the time to scout the area because they were shot dead by the hired security. Hey, 2 dead jihadis is better than 2 live ones. Fuck you very much. I couldn't give a shit about two dead idiots but nice try. My point isn't even exclusively about Muslims, just how totally lacking in empathy and manners the world has become. Thanks for proving the point. Officer charged with murder after shooting man in back

That explains it, worst fake baby in a movie I've seen in years. I'm hearing a lot of noise about this movie. Bottom line is its entertainment nothing more, loosely based on a real person. In my opinion... Was he a hero? I don't know (or care) however he was a man doing a job, his job was killing humans and gathering intel on the field, he did it well. He was clearly a skilled soldier who served his nation. As for the rights and wrongs of the war, thats for politicians, lawyers and civilians to debate a soldier goes where he is told and fights the wars his nation wages. Kyle did that. I've heard that the movie is responsible for a sudden rise in Anti Muslim sentiment, personally I think nutters running around Paris offing civvies has more to do with that. I liked the movie for entertainment value. I don't know why they added stuff like the first kill being a child instead of the mother on her own etc it added nothing to the story. Also WTF was up with that creepy silicone baby with the fucked up hair?? And finally if it was a bit irritating that it showed the spotter in the team being just along for the ride, sitting about doing bugger all for the entire movie. I 'd like to see examples of what your saying Some cartoons were bad taste for sure, but bad taste is not a crime. Usually there cartoon were not 1 st degree. Some people just don't understand 2 nd or 3 rd degree. Their humor might be hard to understand when you're not French (As sometimes I don't catch British Humor). You don't like, you don't buy. And that's all. http://qph.is.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-ddd3904e07d024cc09ecc4d76145f73d?convert_to_webp=true When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Without doubt you did the right thing, I also didn't look at the picture you attached, I don't need any more grizzly images in my head. Clearly it never happened and they were struggling against xenophobia. Some organisations sued them for incitating to racial hatred, Charlie won their trials. It seems that you really don't know what this paper was about. I've seen their bile laden excuse for cartoons, lampooning for example the Nigerian girls kidnapped by Boko Harem, children who this rag of a magazine ridiculed and linked to handout on a welfare system. CH is simply a magazine of hate mongers and bigots who use facile and asinine cartoons to get a rise. Thats a really stupid thing to say. If I didn't know better I'd suspect that GW Bush was on the other side of the internet writing as Jakee. 'You either with us or against us' disappointing to see you grab the argument of the simpleton with both hands so willingly. Of course they were. Who else was supposed to buy them? I'll chalk you up as another guy who won't answer the girlfriend question posed above. Your stupid girlfriend analogy is in your parlance and misunderstanding of the term 'non sentient'. #IamNotCharlie When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Oh, ok then. Hornets are intelligent so it's totally ok to compare them with humans, but it makes no sense to compare humans with humans. Right. Dude, take a step back and think about what you're saying right now. Sentience is not related to intelligence if it were there would be several non sentient beings on this thread. No one is saying that they deserved to be murdered but I am saying that their pointless deaths were the direct consequence of their knowingly provoking terrorists. But yet we live in the real world where not everyone obeys the law. CH decided to pitch their insulting and offensive content directly at terrorists (the last thing they published online before the shooting was a pop at Al Bagdadi) they knew what IS do and have done to people who the believe insult their beliefs and they knew that they would be targeted. Sure they were free to do so but the outcome is far from surprising. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. No - in my analogy a person is being held responsible for the criminal acts of another sentient human because they annoyed them a bit - this is exactly the same as what you're saying about Charlie Hebdo. In your analogy a person is being held responsible for the acts of a non-sentient insect colony which they physically attacked that acts in an absolutely predictable manner based on instinct - this is nothing like the Charlie Hebdo situation and is laughabble nonsense. So if you wouldn't blame the girlfriend in my example above, you will have to explain not. No, your analogy is hopelessly irrelevant as the attacker is committing a crime because of something the other person hasn't done. If you don't like the hornets example I'll use humans. As I previously said the Charlie Hebdo magazine was like a drunk in a bar insulting people, siting at Charlie's table are a group of people trying to ignore his loud mouth taunts. He seeing some known psychos with a touchy demeanour sitting at a table across the way and knowing what buttons to punch starts to insult them as best he can. The psychos get up come over and kill not only him but several other people on his table. Would they be alive if he had not been a obnoxious twat yes, did he kill them? No but they are dead as a consequence of his behaviour. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
