In many countries children do carry rifles and weapons of various types, that doesn't make them all terrorists and killers, it has to be viewed in cultural perspective. look at the pictures below and ask yourself which is the terrorist then ask yourself what made you decided... I just watched the full video on Wikileaks http://www.truthout.org/wikileaks-releases-video-depicting-us-forces-killing-two-reuters-journalists-iraq58326 in fairness i can see why the pilot and observer engaged the group to start with, its easy to sit in cold isolation watching this on the internet and stop and rewind if need be to see if it was a camera or RPG. It did seem to me that the cameraman pointed the camera at the helicopter from around the side of a building. Sitting in the helicopter they had to make a decision which would possibly cost them their lives if they got it wrong. They got it wrong and it cost the men on the ground their lives instead. However... They clearly continued to fire upon the wounded men who were no longer a threat and who clearly had no weapons on them. That said, in the heat of battle it is not the easiest thing for a man to go from killing the enemy to stopping within a second when the blood is up. Up to this point I would have put the incident down to fog of war and a tragic event. What occurs next is unexcusable. To open fire on the van of unarmed men helping an unarmed dying man in the street with a van with children clearly visable in it is nothing short of murder. Neither of the men carrying the injured man were armed and there was no evidence of weapons in the van. Indeed if they had been able to see weapons in the van that could not be seen on the video then without doubt they would also be able to see two little girls. To then hand the children over to the IP for casvac is unforgivable. This event needs to be investigated properly. And yet, your defense relies on pilots that can hit specific floors of the buildings and explosives that have to function PERFECTLY even after the plane strike/explosion, burning fuel, etc etc etc. Oh, and the thousands of pounds of explosives and miles of wiring and dismantled walls/cut columns all have to be invisible, as well as the work crews for the weeks (if not months) it would take to put it all together. Faced with all that, and you STILL believe that it happened just that way, and that the same gov't that would kill 3000+ of it's own citizens somehow wouldn't kill the "Loose Screws" crew. Exactly, I don't doubt that some people in the Gov would have no problem with killing or letting those poeple die. However the miles of wiring, the work involved alone make this nonsence. When you add to that the amountof people who would have had to have been invlved and the fact that not ONE of them has spoken in the years since make this impossible nonsence. They came down beacuse they were hit bythe aircraft which then deformed the supports, thats the bottom line. "Let us be clear. All settlement activity is illegal anywhere in occupied territory and must be stopped." UN chief Ban Ki Moon http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArtVty.jhtml?sw=settlement&itemNo=1157660 UN Human Rights Council passes 3 resolutions condemning Israel: Another resolution called on Israel to stop building all settlements and move to withdrawing those now there, was passed by 45 votes with the EU supporting it and only the United States opposing. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArtVty.jhtml?sw=settlements&itemNo=1158708 No doubt you think Ban Ki Moon, the UN and the EU are also uneducated. tell me did yu support apartheid in South Africa also? As a non american i haven't been exposed to as much of the internal debate on the universal Healthcare bill as some of you. Coming form a country where healthcare is free at the poiunt of care for all I find it difficult to understand why anyone would want to restrict it from those in need who don't have money. So why are you against universal healthcare? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Well if its so terrible all of those who wish to gloss over the history of the Emerald Isle should perhaps go home and leave it to the Irish who managed to survive..... even the not so ancient history. Only an idiot would stay where they were not wanted or needed. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/JakeBarnes/trolls2.jpg The end When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. No glee, just pointing out you're wrong. Shame you had to go dragging up ancient history on a happy day. With the crap going on in the country today the country on the verge of bankrupsy, tax sky high, unemployment spiraling, the Church in crisis with Paedophile scandals that cos us all millions, violent gang crime out of control, resurgent terrorism, public sector unions on strike, public sector wages cut pensions taxed, the health service in crisis, 58,000 X rays unreported in one hospital alone, corruption and nepotisim rife, Jedwood, no one but an idiot would blame the British for the mess the country is in today. Even using your figures and facts 600,000 still isn't even 50% of the 1.4M so I am correct in my assertation that it was some but not most. To say that most ancestral irish were dead or transported is simply not true and you have provided the figures to prove it, thanks.

I never knew that - not THAT is funny. There have to be a lot of them.. Cromwell and others saw to it that most of the ancestral Irish were dead or transported. Some but not most.
