  1. Good luck, Kristi! I'm sure you'll do a great job!
  2. Well at least you have a good attitude too. And now I'm probably gonna be in trouble for discussing Rich's penis on a public forum...
  3. He may be jealous of your beautiful eyes and your perky nipples, but his penis really does look like that.
  4. Rich thinks you look like you're wearing eye makeup in that photo. I think you look like a monkey. Oh, and now that women are allowed to vote, this picture may actually increase your chances if you ever decide to run for President.
  5. I wonder if this is a serious enough issue that folks should be considering it before making the decision to use a full-face??? Or does the protection it provides outweigh the probability of a situation where the full-face helmet becomes a hazard?
  6. Probably not... I think stem cell research has been going on for some time now (15-20 years???), but human embryonic stem cell research is relatively new... and that is what the big debate is about. (This is from my very limited knowledge on the subject, so anyone please correct me if that is wrong.) So your point is probably right on... that the Reagans most likely had no real stance on the issue until after RR was diagnosed with Alzheimer's... bad example/assumption on my part.
  7. This is exactly what I was thinking the first time I heard about Nancy Reagan advocating stem cell research. I am curious to know if she was for or against it before Ronald Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It is interesting how some people's views on an issue can change drastically when that issue suddenly has a direct effect on them... Makes it appear that they are incapable of looking beyond their own needs. (Not saying this is necessarily the case with the Reagans; I honestly don't know what their position on stem cell research was in the past.)
  8. And then smack him a couple of more times for me too. I had to work with the dude for a while, and I am still traumatized from it. Though I think Lisa and I both would have liked him a lot more if we had known about his enormous black penis.
  9. Only the west side of the state is Southwest.
  10. I was doing a search on "first aid" and came across this old thread, and I have a question about this... I have never worn a full-face helmet, but I have changed the lenses on them a few times, and I have helped others to lift the lens while they were wearing the helmet... In my experience, most of the shields are pretty stiff and require a certain amount of force to move them, enough that I would imagine trying to remove a lens from an injured person would cause significant movement of their neck... maybe not as much as removing the whole helmet, but possibly enough to cause further spinal damage. So I am curious to hear thoughts on this from jumpers who regularly use full-face helmets or who have ever had to remove just the shield from an injured person. What would be the best way to remove the shield? Lifting it as it was designed (which might require a bit of force), or removing it with an allen wrench? (I suppose it is not very likely that an allen wrench would be immediately available.)
  11. Sea monkeys are cool! And we have a lot of those too, because that is what the seahorses eat. (Well, they're live brine shrimp anyway.) We don't keep them in one of those cool little castle thingies though...
  12. There are a handful of sites where you can order them online. Also, local saltwater fish stores sometimes have them. (I don't know about your area.) Ocean Rider in Hawaii (http://oceanrider.com/) is one of the few places that breeds farm-raised seahorses; this is a good place to buy them because it does not encourage people to collect them in the wild, and I think they are less likely to have parasites. If you want to get seahorses, do a lot of research first. They're not all that easy to keep, so I think it's a good idea to successfully keep some other type of saltwater tank first.
  13. There has been a rare occasion or two where I have surprisingly found myself agreeing with you. But there are a few others I can think of (whose names I won't mention) that I feel the same way about. Though I usually try to refrain from saying things like "Wow, I actually agree with YOU!"
  14. Yep. The female desposits her eggs into a pouch on the male's belly, where he fertilizes them and keeps them there until they are born.
  15. I believe most of those emails are fishing for personal information (ebay password, etc.).
  16. I get a lot of these. The best thing to do is to display the full headers in the message and then forward it to spoof@ebay.com. Ebay will reply to confirm that it was not a message sent from them. (You can usually tell this by looking at the full headers too - you will see that the message originated from somewhere other than an ebay server.) This will also help them to track whoever sent you the fraudulent message.
  17. Actually, I do buy the stuff that I download. $.99 per song or $9.99 per album through Napster; I think that's a fair deal.
  18. Degenerate INTRANSITIVE VERB: Inflected forms: de·gen·er·at·ed, de·gen·er·at·ing, de·gen·er·ates (--rt)1. To fall below a normal or desirable state, especially functionally or morally; deteriorate. 2. To decline in quality. 3. To undergo degeneration.
  19. I haven't listened to them much, but I did see one of their shows a long time ago... opening for the Ramones in Austin at City Coliseum (RIP). Both bands put on an excellent show! Oh, and I loved their version of "Ring of Fire", being a Johnny Cash fan and all.
  20. So can you mix vodka with them and make jelly shots???
  21. You can do other things to accomplish that! Oh I already do plenty of other things to accomplish that! And KEITH: What the hell are jelly babies??? (Or am I gonna regret asking that???)
  22. Someone needs to spank Tuna... And why the sudden bad mood, WrongWay?
  23. Ok... I'm sorry. I'm just being a naughty girl.
