    Hey! I don't think anyone else could have possibly played Ted (or Bill, whichever one it was) better than he did! I can never decide who or what the best anything is, but I picked Jack Nicholson just because he's so sexy (in a psycho kind of way). Oh, and he's a great actor too...

    This question is obviously for those of you who live in an area that has a lot of earthquakes... I've been trying to decide if it's worth adding to our insurance policy... I had decided not to, but we had a little earthquake yesterday... It was only a 3.4, but the epicenter was only a few miles from our house, so that's making me reconsider... (Of course, the first thing I thought when I felt it was, "Please don't let this be a big one, because I didn't get the freakin' earthquake insurance!")

    14 ounces is a lot of heroin, definitely enough to not be considered "personal use." It sucks that the guy was executed over it, but I would imagine that he knew it wasn't a very good idea to be trafficking drugs in Singapore. I find prison and all the associated legal hassles to be enough of a deterrent that I wouldn't sell drugs. And, well, I have no desire to sell drugs anyway. But yes, I do think the death penalty for drug dealers would curb the flow of drugs in the US at least a little bit. I certainly wouldn't vote for it though; I think law enforcement should have better things to do with their time anyway.

    I'm not sure really... something about the hiking in the national park, being exhausted and sore, and suddenly ending up in a bordello. I guess something about that reminds me of myself and my other Texan friends.

    Well, we'll still have some moving to do the next day (we have a ridiculous amount of crap!), so I don't want to be too hungover. The real celebration can start when the move is completely over!

    We'll be moving stuff from the house we're in, to our new house, which is three doors down... And cooking a turkey in the new house (actually just heating up a smoked turkey that I had in the freezer), and some easy side dishes... And maybe drinking the bottle of Merlot that the previous owners left for us.

    Yes, but it seems that they would make a lot more customers happy if they just showed them where the lights are whether the customers ask for "holiday lights" or "Christmas lights," without trying to convince the customers that they now need to be called "holiday lights." I'm an atheist, and it still would have annoyed me if they didn't just show me where the Christmas lights were when I asked for them, without making a big deal about it.

    I wonder if it was the guy that does the stage lighting for the Trans Siberian Orchestra. That was the best Christmas lights display ever! And I'm glad that you pointed out who the music was from, because I really liked that too... and am now listening to some of their other stuff (though so far I am thinking that they should stick to instrumental music).

    Well I'm from Texas, and I always thought it was ok to have beans in chili... but I was just browsing through some recipes from the infamous Terlingua Chili Cookoff, and I don't see any recipes that include beans.

    Actually, I will be packing tomorrow, and not harming any of the little snail folk. We'll be moving into our new house during the next week... Give me a call if you feel like stopping by, but you may want to wait on taking the snails, until we get into our new house (I don't really care about the ones that are here anymore) - I think we'll have a lot more of them at the new place, and it would be kinda fun to scoop them all up and take them to a new home!
