I have to side with Quade on this one. Mr Dunn was a Jackass for getting behind the wheel of a very powerful GT3 with twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood and driving at high speeds. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

They probably would not hire him since he is on record on the internet slagging the very organization he says should hire him. We are leaving digital foot and finger prints all over the place these days in our modern world. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Assuming you have the money to invest and could afford to write off this investment if the stock tanked, there is nothing stopping you from becoming a stock holder in this oh so profitable company. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Speeding has it's risks. But speed by itself is not the evil doer. - Speeding on a race track, has it's risks. But as long as people know what they are doing, speed can easily be managed in the controlled environment. What makes speeding on a race track manageable is it's predictability. - Speeding in the public roads has it's risks, risks much higher than speeding on a race track, because the predictability is lost. Excessive speeding on the public roads should never be tolerated. - Speeding after consuming alcohol regardless of whether this speeding is on the public roads or a race track is just dumb. Of course speeding on a race track after consuming alcohol is pretty much unheard of. Sorry but Ryan Dunn showed us exactly what a Jackass he really was when he got behind the wheel of his GT3 after consuming alcohol. BTW ... it appears that Mr Dunn actually had experience driving his GT3 on race tracks, so it's not like he did not know how to handle such a powerful car. It was the alcohol that killed him and his passenger. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

You guys are blowing this interview way out of proportion. Jon Stewart was just being Jon Stewart. Nothing more, nothing less. In his own words "He is a comedian first, but he is more than just a comedian". Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

There is a lot of shit going on in the world these days. Just remember, it works both ways. Our ancestors who fought and died for us, allowing us to speak freely (something you are doing right now). So remember as you show the world through this and other threads how much hate that exists in your own head towards the USA (who are far from perfect, who have themselves been responsible for the deaths of innocent people). Just remember certain things in Afghanistan were common occurrences before the NATO forces showed up. As much as you hate the USA, they never did this Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

The NHL uses players from all over North America and Europe. But personally I think it is dumb to bring nationalism into the NHL (save the nationalism for the Olympics and other similar tournaments). Not long ago someone told me I needed to cheer for Vancouver and my response was "Why"? and then of course this was followed by a "Because they are Canadian" which in turn invoked a "Bullshit" reply. I can cheer for whoever I want in the NHL. I don't cheer for Vancouver because they are division rivals to a team I like. Heck I don't even cheer for the Calgary Flames (the city I live in) because they are division rivals for a team that I like. Congrats to the Bruins, they were the better team. I am done talking hockey until September (pre-season). BTW ... here is a picture of the only one from Vancouver who could score on the road: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/commercial/2011/6/17/1308266116195/Vancouver-riot-kiss-coupl-001.jpg Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

You're barking up the wrong tree if you think I will be supporting the rioters and/or criticizing the police. You need to understand the political climate in Canada (especially in a Left Wing oriented city such as Vancouver). Even though they lost the recent election, Lefties still feel they run the country and they hate the cops. When a Left Wing oriented city such as Vancouver begins rioting and destroying it's own city there would have been hell to pay and calls that "Canada was a Police State" if the cops acted sooner in this riot. The cops were in no win "Damned if you Do, Damned if you Don't" scenario. Blame the cops all you want. But it wasn't them who started this riot. Canada needs to shed this national obsession it has that only Canada should ever win hockey games. But I still laugh at how you want us to believe the US has had more success in international hockey. Not sure where you get your facts from, but they surely don't mesh with reality. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Men's and Women's Olympic Hockey Champions Men's IIHF World Hockey Championships Women's IIHF World Hockey Championships Men's IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships Canada Cups World Cups The USA has some wins under their belts in all of these tournaments (all recognized as top international tournaments). But I see Canada and the Soviet Union/Russia winning more. Not sure where you are getting your facts from? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

For people who like motorcycles, On any Sunday is a must see. It was made in 1971, so don't expect an modern film making techniques and do expect to hear goofy 60s and 70s music in the flick. But to this day it is still thought of as one of the all time classics for motorcycles. Lo siento, no voy a hablar Inglés. Por favor, hable Español para mí. With the way the world is changing, I am thinking if I knew better Spanish than the basics I know now, life would be easier as I could relocate to a lesser expensive part of the world in Central or South America. Life in North America and Europe is getting rather expensive these days. My problems with Spanish is that I can actually read the language and have a reasonably idea of what the text says, but the Spanish speaking people talk too fast and I am lost if/when they speak to me. Of course we really should be learning Mandarin as the Chinese are poised to swallow the world and the Chinese only care about the Chinese. It could be worse. We could be Frenchies from La Belle Province. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Have you given up on talking politics Turtle? Haven't seen you much in SC lately. If yes this is probably a good thing. Whenever I think of politicians and their bullshit, I get mad (and I know I am not alone). Life would be less stressful if we had fewer politicians and fewer lawyers (many of whom are politicians). Proof positive that the politicians and their media are full of shit when they say this riot was the result of a small group of anarchists. Make no mistake, to many this was a hockey riot. They were rioting because their team lost. Rioting over a hockey game? Unbelievable. Watch the video posted below and tell me what these young white men are chanting? They are chanting "Fuck Boston" and "Fuck the USA" while they vandalize private property with a bear (as in a Bruin) tied to a hockey stick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONMxKAwSFWw&feature=youtu.be&t=51s Hockey is a great game, but will Canada ever shed this national obsession it has with "Only Canada should ever win at hockey"? Obviously Canada is a great contributor to the NHL, but the NHL is an international league with it's teams and it's players. The NHL never has and never will be the domain of Canada. There is video of some minorities rioting and also video of some females rioting. But the vast majority of the idiots who were rioting were young white males many of whom were wearing Canucks jerseys. This is sad, we have raised a generation of young men with little to no respect. I was no angel when I grew up in the late 70s and early 80s. I was not into crime, but I was doing a lot of soft drugs, did alcohol and was caught up in the late 70s early 80s generation who wanted to play irresponsibly like the older 1960s generation. Plus I did not conform to the strict rules of my Nazi step-parent (I kid you not my step father was a Hitler Youth who grew up on the other side of WWII, his slightly older brother fought in Russia). But as much as I battled my Nazi step father in my youth, he did do one thing for me that turned me around. He enrolled me into the Reserve Armed Forces. The military taught me about personal responsibility and they changed me from being a potential street thug into being a somewhat respectable self sufficient adult. I would be willing to bet that if we had mandatory military service for all young adults like what they have in places like Switzerland, we would be raising a generation of youth who have more respect and would be less likely to riot after losing a stupid hockey game. What have you decided to use "Rescumlicans" instead of your usual "rePUBICTARD" reference? And more importantly you have decided to post under a different account instead of posting under the usual account you use? The same words, the same grammar, the same rhetoric and the same hate is consistent between accounts. I will now send myself to the DIZZY.COM penalty box for this attack, but you are not fooling anyone. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

LOL ... good on them.

There is plenty of video evidence showing rioters wearing Canuck's fan jerseys. This was more than a gang of thugs. It was thousands and thousands of people NOT using that brain between their ears. Some people will be identified (because of all the video evidence) but when you look at the "Hug a Thug" justice system in Canada, you know nothing is really going to happen to these rioters. They might be slapped with a petty fine, records of their crimes will be available to employers who google them in the future if they try to find work, they will then be rejected for the job meaning they can not have meaningful careers, these morons will then blame society because society is not giving them the easy life they think they are entitled to, so they will riot more. These morons will never accept personal responsibility for their own futures. It will always be someone else's fault. It is just sad how some people equate a game to their national pride. There are more Canadians on the Bruins rosters than there are Canadians on the Canucks roster, but many of these morons who rioted just can not figure this out. Canada has a lot of good things going for it, but this national obsession where only Canada should ever win at hockey is moronic. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

This is just messed up. So business owners who happen to live in the area can not park their vehicles on the public streets in front of their own homes because some PC people disagree with what may be written on the vehicle or may disagree with the vehicle type? So much for a free country. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over -
Can you wait a little more than 2 months? Things will start up again (pre-season) in September. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

There is plenty of "Not a single hockey fan rioted, only hooligans" "It was not us, only a very small number of people rioted" But the video evidence shows us this was not the case. There were thousands of people rioting and looting and plenty of them were wearing Canucks jerseys. This is just downright disgusting and there are no excuses.
