    I never had (and never wanted) a windshield for 25 years, but put one on my current......the difference is night and day concerning bugs and fatigue. Skid Lid anytime it's 30 and above, but full-face this morning and tomorrow........you wouldn't think anything could hurt this face more than it already is, but 15 degrees or so at highway speeds will do it every time. I'm often asked why I ride more in the winter than the summer......less bugs, don't burn up in my leathers, MUCH less chance of "pop-up" thunderstorms, and it's a fantastic way to wake up on cold winter mornings.

    Geez, do I feel old......I remember owning their LP "Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra" in the early '70s......great to hear they're still lightin' it up. I wonder if any of the ESO members on the album were still performing last night ? "Whiskey Train" was always my favorite PH song........I don't suppose they did it without Trower, though. I'm jealous.

    Agreed. Pretty soon the defense will be required to wear blindfolds, because it will be illegal to even look at a quarterback. This poll is comparing apples to oranges. I've played football, hockey, rugby and soccer........I think football is roughest, but that's because every player is expected to hit an opposing player on every play. More minor injuries in rugby, but of course you're not wearing any protection. Proportionately more serious injuries in hockey, but it's played at a much higher speed, and most injuries happen when one player doesn't have his head on a swivel.     Pulled for the Wings since the early '70s, and I'm too old to change now. We're not getting better, we're getting older. Luckily, our 'average' is better than everyone else's 'better'.
