    I love the bright colors because they're bright, not because they're trendy or matchy-matchy. I had a black canopy that perfectly matched my gear (which is black & grey with navy accents) and I hated it because it went into stealth mode. My mains now are 7 yellow/2 orange and 7 orange/1 white/1 navy and no one misses me! Yellow is not a good option for canopies at many DZ's in the UK given the high number of farmers planting oil seed rape as a cash crop (it's bright yellow when in flower) making it nearly impossible to spot an open canopy beneath you.     As a noob (still on s/l) I'm a long way from wingsuiting but I do know that the BPA has had a formalized WS rating and training program for a while. I've attached the relevant documents for information. Just like we have a licence endorsement for RW (FS1), FF (FF1) etc, we have WS1 and WS2 which you need a C licence for.     The National Rifle Association of the United Kingdom was founded in 1859 (twelve years before the NRA in the US). It was granted a charter of incorporation by Queen Victoria in 1890. They're NOT the same organization as the NRA in the United States, are not related to them, and they are the governing body of pistol and rifle shooting sports in the UK. Two countries just happen to have "National" rifle associations. The GB Olympic shooting team have to practice somewhere in Europe because they're not allowed to keep the weapons in the UK.     +1 A classified advert is legally an invitation to treat not an offer for sale (Fisher v Bell [1961] and confirmed by Partridge v Crittendon [1968]). The seller makes an invitation to treat (negotiate) by placing the ad and the buyer makes an offer to buy at the stated price. It is then up to the seller as to whether he accepts the offer and creates the contract.     IMO (as a noob) the UK system has a lot to recommend it. The ratings involved are as follows: Packer (see BPA form 197 for guidelines) Advanced Packer (BPA form 169 for syllabus) Basic Rigger (BPA form 199 for syllabus) Parachute Rigger (BPA form 200 for syllabus) Advanced Rigger (BPA form 201 for syllabus) Rigger Examiner (BPA form 202 for syllabus) As far as I can see the ratings are designed to progress a candidate from one level to the next with appropriate supervision from a senior person during a defined period (12 - 18 months between attending course and taking exam).     Started donating at 18 and last year made my 50th donation (In the UK donations are every 6 months except when the blood banks are low and they start calling donors in for extra sessions). I'm also on the bone marrow register and carry an organ donor card. Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation

    I've always found that women's erotica is far more sensual and that it's far more effective for stimulating the major erogenous zone - the imagination. Someone once described the difference between male and female porn as being that in male porn the woman says 'do what you want to me' whereas in female porn it's more like 'do what I want you to do to me'. edited to add: the title of the book is '50 shades of grey'.     So, if you jump from from 15,000 ft you take the wind speed and direction from the winds aloft table for 3,6,9,12 and 15,000 ft and divide by 5 to get the average.     The name 'rifleman' was originally my job description when I joined the Army (rifleman = private in some infantry battalions in the UK) and historically denoted a soldier trained to use a Baker rifle as opposed to a smoothbore musket. Riflemen operated in pairs ahead of the line infantry as skirmishers, taking advantage of the longer ranged weapon to target officers, artillery etc. Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation

    What I meant was that I'd like to be able to calculate the spot for myself even though atm I'm having to trust my instructors to put me out at the right point. How will I know if the spot is right if I have no idea how to figure it out? (6 years in the military have taught me that mistakes can and do happen, even with qualified personnel) Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation

    Hi, I'm a S/L student as well and all I can offer is the advice that my instructor gave me before my first PRCP jump - put your hand on your butt cheek (his words were even a muppet can find their arse without a map) then slide it up until you find the PRCP handle.
