We keep our 2 girls belted in with padded harnesses that attach to the seat belt. We were driving down I-4 a few years ago. A car was parked in the median. Not sure if it had been in an accident or was broke down. A small dog had escaped from the vehicle and as 2 young girls chased him trying to catch him he ran into the highway. We watched in the rear view mirror as the poor wiener dog was clipped by one car and tossed directly into the path of a pickup. I hate to think what effect that had oon the poor girls. I can see where you are coming from. I am more the type to roll with the punches but I know plenty of people that beat themselves up over everything. You got to realize you cannot control everything or everybody. Maybe control isn't the right word. You had a vision in your head of how your life was going to be. Your ex didn't stick to the plan. Is that your fault?? Is that something you should have seen coming?? Maybe not You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Well for one, you could put away your passive aggressiveness and stop blaming others, as veiled as it is. Wow for 25 years I have been using a oxy acetylene torch to cut down old sign poles..this looks like a lot more fun.. You can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!

Pretty much. There are good teachers out there, but considering they are in a 35:1 ratio (in Denver, at least), those few spend their entire day managing the kids, not teaching them. Considering what we pay teachers, what do we expect? For as much time as they have off, they get paid well. If their pay rate continued for the 3 1/2 months combined vacation they have each year, then they would make well more. Having all that time off comes at a price. ------------------------------------------------------------ My sister in law is a teacher here in Florida. With all the extra record keeping and paperwork that gets dumped on her I think she makes up for the 2 months off she gets with overtime during the school year. Sounds pretty hard-assed to me. And they wonder why people aren't more cooperative with them. I agree what the hell they want you as a witness and treat you like a criminal.
