I just bought the album last week. i was well pissed off when they played in dublin 2 days before the end of my final exams.....Audioslave rock, good suggestion.

Nearly everybody i met there was american, its a pretty interesting place. Cant say much for the food though.

Agreed....i fell asleep during it. Apparently something got nuked in the end and that was supposed to be the highlight of the movie. Ill take peoples word for it. It certainly cured my insomnia.

I gave up on all those music sharing prograams cause i have a crappy connection and also cause i think theres a chance they might ruin the music industry.

Nope.....no dropzones and im stuck here for 6 months What did you think of the island? Do any diving?

Well.......I was trying to decide whether to buy a mobile phone to keep in touch with my girlfriend at the time or use the money for a tandem, she saved me the decision and dumped me a week after discussing my options......which worked out pretty good as far as skydiving goes

Its pretty unpredictable, the weather was great last time, actally it was roasting but every other year i can remember was fairly bleak. Its still a lot of fun but the sun is a bonus, maybe you'll get lucky.........just keep spraying those CFC's and hope for the best. Im sure youll have a great time where ever and whenever you go.

Paddy's Day is good craic but the weather around that time is traditionally brutal.....Ireland is a beautiful place when the sun comes out which isn't all that often but i would suggest you wait until the summer. As for the pub crawl, you'll have no problem finding pubs on your own and maybe you can get the tour of the Guinness factory. If you want any more info on the country i'd be glad to help.

Hey all, here's the deal, I finished school and took a year out before i start university next october. I just got a job in the Cayman Islands and plan to work here for 6 months and save up enough to go backpacking around the world with a friend. Anybody out there done this???? Got any good/bad advice???? I'd really like to here it, at the moment my plan is leave Ireland and head west, and keep going till i end up back whare i started. Thanks in advance.

Thats terrible. sounds kind of like all the john grisham novels ive been reading lately!!! One of my instructors was on the plane when it crashed......apparently it was the only civilian dropzone in the country...but there are plans to open a new one. Different owner though. This is what ive been told by my intructor anyway.
